پہلا دن
SHORT DUAS FOR THE DAYS OF RAMADHAN
It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) referred to the great merits and rewards of observing fast on each day of Ramadan. He also mentioned supplicatory prayers that are dedicated to each of these days with the merits and rewards of saying them. Let us hereby mention these supplicatory prayers only:
1st Day
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صِيَامِيْ فِيْهِ صِيَامَ الصَّآئِمِيْنَ،
O Allah, on this day, (please) decide my fasting to be as same as the fasting of the true fasters,
خدایا ہمارے روزوں کو روزہ داروں جیسا
وَقِيَامِيْ فِيْهِ قِيَامَ الْقَآئِمِيْنَ،
decide my acts of worship to be as same as the worship of the worshippers,
اور ہمارے قیام کو نماز گذاروں جیسا قرار دے۔
وَنَبِّهْنِيْ فِيْهِ عَنْ نَوْمَةِ الْغَافِلِيْنَ،
awaken me from the slumber of the inadvertent ones,
ہمیں غافلوں کی نیند سے بیدار کر دے۔
وَهَبْ لِىْ جُرْمِيْ فِيْهِ يَا اِلـٰهَ الْعَالَمِيْنَ،
excuse my offense on this day, O God of the worlds,
اور ہمارے گناہوں کو بخش دے اے عالمین کے مالک
وَاعْفُ عَنِّي يَا عَافِيًا عَنِ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ۔
and pardon me, O He Who pardons the offenders!
ہمیں معاف فرما دے اے تمام مجرموں کو معاف کرنے والے۔
