تیسواں دن
For the last day of Ramadan, Sayyid Ibn Tawus has mentioned a supplicatory prayer that begins with:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّكَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
O Allah, verily You are the most Merciful of all those who show mercy ….
اے معبود! بے شک تو سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہے
In most cases, the recitation of the Holy Qur’an is accomplished on the thirtieth of Ramadan; therefore, it is highly advisable to read the supplicatory prayer No. 42 of al-Sahifah al-Kamilah al-Sajjadiyyah.
It is also optional to say the following brief supplicatory prayer that is reported by Shaykh al-Tusi from Imam Ali Ameer al-Momineen(a.s.):
اَللّٰهُمَّ اشْرَحْ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ صَدْرِيْ،
O Allah, (please) expand my breast through the Qur'an,
خدایا میرے سینہ کو قرآن کے ذریعہ کشادہ کردے
وَاسْتَعْمِلْ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ بَدَنِيْ،
use my body for the Qur'an,
میرے بدن کو قرآن کے عمل کی راہ میں لگا دے۔
وَنَوِّرَ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ بَصَرِيْ،
enlighten my sight by the Qur'an,
میری بصارت کو قرآن کے ذریعہ نورانی بنا
وَاطْلِقْ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ لِسَانِي،
make my tongue eloquent by the Qur'an,
اور میری زبان کو قرآن کے ذریعہ رواں بنادے
وَاَعِنِّي عَلَيْهِ مَا اَبْقَيْتَنِيْ
and help me carry out its duty as long as You keep me alive,
اور اس راہ میں جب تک زندہ رہوں میری مدد کرتا رہ۔
فَاِنَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِكَ۔
for there is neither power nor might save with You.
تیرے علاوہ نہ کوئی قوّت ہے اور نہ طاقت ہے۔
It is recommended, too, to say the following supplicatory prayer that is reported from Imam Ali Ameer al-Momineen(a.s.):
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّي اَسْاَلُكَ اِخْبَاتَ الْمُخْبِتِيْنَ،
O Allah, I beseech You for the humbleness of those who humble themselves before You,
خدایا میں تجھ سے توجہ کرنے والوں کی توجہ،
وَاِخْلَاصَ الْمُوْقِنِيْنَ،
for the sincerity of those possessing certainty,
صاحبانِ یقین جیسا اخلاص،
وَمُرَافَقَةَ الْاَبْرَارِ،
for the companionship of the pious ones,
نیک بندوں کی رفاقت،
وَاسْتِحْقَاقَ حَقَاۤئِقِ الْاِيْمَانِ،
for the worthiness of the truths of faith,
حقائق ایمان کا استحقاق،
وَالْغَنِيْمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ،
for gaining a share of all pious deeds,
ہر نیکی کا حصّہ،
وَالسَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ اِثْمٍ،
for safety from all sins,
ہرگناہ سے سلامتی،
وَوُجُوْبَ رَحْمَتِكَ،
for the merit of Your mercy,
رحمت
وَعَزَآئِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ،
for the qualifications of winning Your forgiveness,
اور تیری یقینی مغفرت کے لزوم،
وَالْفَوْزَ بِالْجَنَّةِ،
for winning Paradise,
جنّت میں کامیابی
وَالنَّجَاةَ مِنَ النَّارِ۔
and for salvation from Hellfire.
اور جہنّم کے نجات کا سوال کررہا ہوں۔
