Second: He has also said: It is recommended to say the following doxology (zikr) everyday in Ramadan. It consists of ten parts; each part comprises ten phrases of glorification of Almighty Allah:

Glory be to Allah, the Shaper of breathes.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ جو زندگیوں کا ایجاد کرنے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تصویر ساز ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تمام جوڑوں کا بنانے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ظلمت و نور کا قرار دینے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah the Causer of the grain and the stone to germinate.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو دانوں اور بیج کا شگافتہ کرنے والا ہے۔

Glory be-to Allah, the Creator of all things.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر شئے کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر مرئی اور غیر مرئی مخلوق کا موجد ہے۔

Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

پاکیزگی ہے اس اللہ کے لیے اس کے کلمات کے برابر۔

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

پاکیزہ ہے اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the All-hearing; there is nothing is more hearing than He is.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ایسا سمیع ہے کہ اس سے زیادہ کوئی سننے والا نہیں ہے۔

He hears from above His Throne what is under seven layers of the earth.

وہ عرش کی بلندیوں سے زمین کی آخری تہہ تک کی ساری آوازیں سُن لیتا ہے

He hears that which is in the murk of lands and oceans.

اور بر و بحر کی ظلمتوں کی آوازیں

He hears the moaning and the complaints.

اور ہر ایک کے کراہنے کی آواز

He hears the secret and what is more veiled than secrets.

اور مخفی امور اور راز کی آواز

He hears the inspirations of hearts.

اور دلوں کے وسوسوں کی آوازیں بھی سُن لیتا ہے۔

No sound can ever deafen His hearing.

اور وہ کسی آواز کے سننے سے عاجز نہیں ہے۔

۲۔ پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زندگیوں کا موجد ہے۔

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو مصوّر ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تمام جوڑوں کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ظلمت و نور کا قرار دینے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah the Causer of the grain and the stone to germinate.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو دانے اور بیج کا شگافتہ کرنے والا ہے۔

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر شئے کا خالق ہے۔

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر مرئی اور غیر مرئی کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

پاکیزگی ہے اللہ کے لیے اس کے کلمات کے برابر

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the All-seeing; there is nothing more seeing than He is.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ایسا بصیر ہے کہ اس سے زیادہ کوئی دیکھنے والا نہیں ہے۔

He sees from above His Throne what is under seven layers of the earth.

وہ عرش کی بلندیوں سے ساتوں زمین کے نیچے

He sees that which is in the murk of lands and oceans.

اور بر و بحر کی ظلمتوں کی ہر شئے کو دیکھ لیتا ہے

Visions cannot comprehend Him.

نگاہیں اُسے پا نہیں سکتی ہیں

He comprehends all visions.

اور وہ نگاہوں کا ادراک رکھتا ہے۔

He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware.

وہ لطیف بھی ہے اور خبیر بھی ہے۔

Darkness cannot screen His sight.

اس کی نگاہ پر کوئی ظلمت حاوی نہیں ہوتی ہے

None can hide from Him behind any screen.

اور اس کے سامنے کوئی پردہ

No wall can ever prevent Him from seeing.

کسی چیز کو چھپا نہیں سکتا ہے۔

No land and no ocean can ever be absent from Him.

اس سے بر و بحر کی کوئی چیز غائب نہیں ہے

No mountain can ever conceal its root from Him or conceals its center from Him.

اور پہاڑ بھی اپنے تہہ میں کسی چیز کو یا دل اپنے راز کو

No side of it can conceal its center from Him.

یا پہلو اپنے دل میں کسی چیز کو چھپا نہیں سکتا ہے۔

Neither big nor small thing can ever hide from Him.

کوئی صغیر و کبیر اس سے مخفی نہیں ہے کہ

No tiny thing can ever be unseen by Him due to its smallness.

چھوٹے ہونے کی بناپر اس سے چھپ جائے۔

Surely, nothing is hidden from Him in the earth or in the heavens.

آسمان و زمین کی کوئی شئی پوشیدہ نہیں ہے۔

He it is Who fashions you in the wombs as pleases Him.

وہ وہ ہے جو تمہاری تصویر کو رحمِ مادر کے اندر جیسی چاہتا ہے بنالیتا ہے۔

There is no god save Him; the Almighty, the Wise.

اس خدائے عزیز و حکیم کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے۔

۳۔ پاکیزہ ہے وہ جو زندگیوں کا موجد ہے۔

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو مصوّر ہے۔

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تمام جوڑوں کا خالق ہے۔

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو مرئی اور غیر مرئی ہر چیز کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ اپنے کلمات کے برابر۔

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے

Glory be to Allah Who raises the heavy clouds.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو سنگین بادلوں کو ایجاد کرتا ہے

The thunder declares His glory with His praise,

اور گرج اس کی حمد کی تسبیح کرتی ہے

and the angels too for awe of Him;

اور ملائکہ خوف سے محوِ تسبیح ہیں۔

and He sends the thunderbolts and smites with them whom He pleases.

بجلیوں کو جہاں چاہتا ہے وہاں پہنچا دیتا ہے

He sends forth the winds bearing good news before His mercy.

اور اپنی رحمت سے پہلے ہواؤں کو بشارت بناکر بھیجتا ہے

He causes water to descend from the heavens through His Word.

پھر اپنے کلمات کے ذریعہ آسمان سے پانی برساتا ہے

He causes plants to grow out of His power.

اور اپنی قدرت سے سبزہ اُگاتا ہے

Leaves fall down by His knowledge.

اور پتّہ بھی اس کے علم کے بعد ہی گرتا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah: not the weight of an atom becomes absent from Him,

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جس کے علم سے کوئی ذرّہ یا اس سے کم و زیادہ

in the heavens or in the earth,

زمین و آسمان کا مخفی نہیں ہے

and neither less than that nor greater,

اور جو کچھ ہے وہ سب کتابِ مبین میں ہے۔

but (all) is in a clear book.

اور جو کچھ ہے وہ سب کتابِ مبین میں ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Shaper of breathes.

۴۔ پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زندگیوں کا موجد ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو مصوّر ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تمام ازواج کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ظلمت و نور کا قرار دینے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جس کی پاکیزگی اس کے کلمات کے برابر ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے۔

Glory be to Allah Who knows what every female bears,

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر اس عمل کو جانتا ہے

and that of which the wombs fall short of completion and that in which they increase;

جو کسی مادر کے رحم میں ہے اور جو کچھ اس میں کمی و زیادتی ہوتی ہے۔

and there is a measure with Him of everything.

ہر شئے کی اس کے پاس ایک مقدار ہے۔

The knower of the unseen and the seen, the Great, the Most High.

وہ غیب اور حضور سب کا جاننے والا خدائے بزرگ و برتر ہے۔

Alike to Him among you is he who conceals his words and he who speaks them openly,

اس کے لیے سب برابر ہیں جو اپنی بات کو چھپائے اور جو اپنی بات کا اعلان کرے۔

and he who hides himself by night and who goes forth by day.

جو رات کے پردوں میں چھپنا چاہتا ہے اور جو دن میں ظاہر ہوجاتا ہے

For his sake, there are angels following one another, before him and behind him,

اس کے پاس ایسے فرشتے ہیں جو سامنے اور پیچھے سے

who guard him by Allah's commandment.

امرِ الٰہی سے حفاظت کرتے رہتے ہیں۔

Glory be to Allah Who causes the alive to die and restores the dead to life

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زندوں کو مردہ اور مُردوں کو زندہ بناتا ہے

He knows indeed what the earth diminishes of them.

اُسے معلوم ہے کہ زمین کتنی مخلوقات کم کردیتی ہے

and He causes what We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time.

اور وہی جسے جب تک چاہتا ہے رحمِ مادر میں جگہ دے دیتا ہے۔

۵۔ پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زندگیوں کا موجد ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو مصوّر ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تمام جوڑوں کا خالق ہے۔

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تمام ظلمت و نور کا قرار دینے والا ہے۔

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, Master of the Kingdom!

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ملک کا ملک ہے

You give the kingdom to whomsoever You please

جسے چاہتا ہے دے دیتا ہے

and take away the kingdom from whomsoever You please,

اور جس سے چاہتا ہے لے لیتا ہے

and You exalt whom You please

جسے چاہتا ہے عزّت دیتا ہے

and abase whom You please

اور جسے چاہتا ہے ذلیل کردیتا ہے

in You hand is the good.

اسی کے ہاتھ میں سارا خیر ہے

Surely, You have power over all things.

اور خدایا تو ہر شئے پر قادر ہے۔

You make the night to pass into the day

تو دن میں رات اور

and You make the day to pass into the night,

رات میں دن کو داخل کر دیتا ہے

and You bring forth the living from the dead

اور مردہ سے زندہ کو

and You bring forth the dead from the living,

اور زندہ سے مُردے کو نکالتا ہے

and You give sustenance to whom You please without measure.

اور جس کو چاہتا ہے رزقِ بے حساب دے دیتا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Shaper of breathes.

۶۔ پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زندگیوں کا موجد ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو مصوّر ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تمام جوڑوں کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو نور و ظلمت کا قرار دینے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah the Causer of the grain and the stone to germinate.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو دانہ اور بیج کا شگافتہ کرنے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر شئے کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر مرئی اور غیر مرئی کا آفریدگار ہے۔

Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

پاکیزہ وہ اللہ اپنے کلمات کے برابر

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے۔

Glory be to Allah with Whom are the keys of the unseen treasures.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جس کے پاس غیب کے تمام خزانے ہیں۔

None knows them but He.

جنھیں اس کے علاوہ کوئی نہیں جانتا ہے۔

He knows what is in the land and the sea,

وہ برّ و بحر کی ہر شئے کو جانتا ہے۔

and there falls not a leaf but He knows it,

درخت سے ہر گرنے والے پتّہ کو جانتا ہے

nor a grain in the darkness of the earth,

اور زمین کی تاریکیوں میں ہر دانہ کو جانتا ہے۔

nor anything green nor dry but it is all in a clear book.

کوئی خشک و تر ایسا نہیں ہے جو اس کی کتابِ مبین میں نہ ہو۔

۷۔ پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زندگیوں کا موجد ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو مصوّر ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تمام جوڑوں کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ظلمت و نور کا قرار دینے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah the Causer of the grain and the stone to germinate.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو دانہ اور بیج کا شگافتہ کرنے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر شئے کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر مرئی اور غیر مرئی کا آفریدگار ہے۔

Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

پاکیزگی ہے اللہ کے لیے اس کے کلمات کے برابر۔

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, No speaker can ever declare His actual praiseworthiness.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جس کی مدحت کا شمار متکلمین نہیں کرسکتے ہیں

All the thankful ones and worshippers cannot thank Him adequately for His (innumerable) bounties.

اور اس کے احسانات کا بدلہ شکرگزار یا عبادت گذار نہیں دے سکتے ہیں۔

He is as same as He has described Himself and above whatever we say about Him.

وہ ویسا ہے جیسا اس نے خود کہا ہے اور سب کے قول سے بالاتر ہے۔

Allah, the Glorified, is as same as He has praised Himself, by saying:

پاکیزہ ہے وہ جتنا خود اس نے اپنے بارے میں فرمایا ہے۔

“They cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases.

لوگ اس کے کسی علم کا احاطہ نہیں کرسکتے ہیں مگر جتنا وہ خود چاہے

His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth,

اس کی کُرسیِ علم آسمان و زمین کو حاوی ہے

and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most High, the Great.”

اور اُسے ان کی حفاظت میں کوئی زحمت بھی نہیں ہوتی ہے کہ وہ خدائے علی و عظیم ہے۔

Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے۔

Glory be to Allah Who knows that which goes down into the earth and that which comes out of it,

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زمین میں ہر داخل ہونے والی اور نکلنے والی چیز کو

and knows that which comes down from the heaven and that which goes up to it.

اور آسمان سے ہر اُترنے والی اور جانے والی چیز کو جانتا ہے۔

That which goes down into the earth does not occupy Him

زمین میں جانے یا نکلنے والی کوئی چیز

from that which comes down from the heavens and that which goes up to it.

اُسے آسمان سے اُترنے یا جانے والی چیز سے مشغول نہیں کرسکتی ہے

That which comes down from the heavens and that which goes up to it does not occupy Him

اور نہ آسمان سے آنے والی چیز

from that which goes down into the earth and that which comes out of it.

اس کو زمین میں جانے والی چیز سے غافل کرسکتی ہے.

The knowledge of anything does not occupy Him from the knowledge of something else.

کسی چیز کا علم اُسے دوسرے کے علم سے مشغول نہیں کرسکتا ہے

The creation of anything does not occupy Him from the creation of something else.

اور کسی شئے کی تخلیق دوسرے کی تخلیق سے روک نہیں سکتی ہے

The preservation of anything does not occupy Him from the preservation of something else.

اور نہ کسی کی حفاظت دوسرے کی حفاظت سے مانع ہوسکتی ہے۔

Nothing is equal to Him.

کوئی اس کے برابر

Nothing is His match.

یا اس کا عدیل نہیں ہے

Nothing is like Him.

وہ بے مثال ہے

He is the All-hearing, the All-seeing.

اور سمیع بھی ہے اور بصیر بھی ہے۔

۹۔ پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زندگیوں کا موجد ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو مصوّر ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو جوڑوں کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ظلمت و نور کا قرار دینے والا ہے۔

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو دانہ اور بیج کا شگافتہ کرنے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر مرئی اور غیر مرئی کا موجد ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth,

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو آسمان و زمین کا خالق،

the Maker of the angels, messengers flying on wings,

ملائکہ کو نمائندہ بنانے والا

two, and three, and four.

اور انھیں دو، تین، چار پر دینے والا ہے۔

He increases in creation what He pleases.

وہ اپنی مخلوقات میں جو چاہے اضافہ کرسکتا ہے

Surely, Allah has power over all things.

کہ ہر شئے پر قادر ہے

Whatever Allah grants to men of His mercy, there is none to withhold it,

لوگوں کے لیے جو رحمت کا دروازہ کھول دے اُسے کوئی بند نہیں کرسکتا ہے

and what He withholds there is none to send it forth after that.

اور جسے روک لے اُسے کوئی بھیج نہیں سکتا ہے۔

He is the Mighty, the Wise.

وہ خدائے عزیز و حکیم ہے۔

۱۰۔ پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زندگیوں کا موجد ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو مصوّر ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو تمام جوڑوں کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ظلمت و نور کا قرار دینے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah the Causer of the grain and the stone to germinate.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو دانہ اور بیج کا شگافتہ کرنے والا ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر شئے کا خالق ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ہر مرئی اور غیر مرئی کا موجد ہے۔

Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جس کی پاکیزگی اس کے کلمات کے برابر ہے۔

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو ربّ العالمین ہے۔

Glory be to Allah Who knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اللہ جو زمین و آسمان کی ہر شئے کو جانتا ہے۔

Nowhere is there a secret counsel between three persons but He is the fourth of them,

جب تین آدمیوں میں کوئی راز کی بات ہوتی ہے تو وہ چوتھا ہوتا ہے

nor (between) five but He is the sixth of them,

اور پانچ میں ہوتی ہے تو وہ چھٹا ہوتا ہے

nor less than that nor more but He is with them wherever they are.

اور کم یا زیادہ جو بھی ہو وہ ان کے ساتھ بہرحال رہتا ہے۔

Then, He will inform them of what they did on the Day of Resurrection.

اس کے بعد وہ روزِ قیامت سب کو ان کے اعمال سے باخبر کرے گا

Surely, Allah is Cognizant of all things.

اس لیے کہ وہ ہر شئے کا جاننے والا ہے۔

Third: Shaykh al-Tusi and Sayyid ibn Tawus have also said: You are advised to say the following invocation of blessings upon the Holy Prophet everyday in Ramadan:

Verily, Allah and His angels send blessings to the Prophet.

اللہ اور ملائکہ نبی پر صلوات بھیجتے ہیں۔

O you who believe,Call for Divine blessings on him and salute him with a becoming salutation.

ایمان والو تم بھی صلوات و سلام بھیجو۔

Here I am at Your service, my Lord! Doing that which - pleases You, and glory be to You.

لبیک اے پروردگار، ہم حاضر ہیں، تو پاکیزہ ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما۔

and send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

اور محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر برکت عطا فرما

just as You have blessed and conferred benedictions upon (Prophet) Abraham and the Household of Abraham.

جس طرح تو نے ابراہیمؑ و آل ابراہیمؑ کو رحمت و برکت دی ہے

You are verily worthy of all praise and full of all glory.

کہ تو حمید بھی ہے اور مجید بھی ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) have mercy upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر ویسی ہی رحمت نازل فرما

just as You had mercy upon (Prophet) Abraham and the Household of Abraham.

جیسے ابراہیمؑ اور آلِ ابراہیمؑ پر نازل کی ہے۔

You are verily worthy of all praise and full of all glory.

تو خدائے حمید و مجید ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) send peace upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر ویسے سلام بھیج

just as You sent peace upon Noah among all the creatures.

جیسے عالمین میں نوحؑ پر بھیجا ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) confer favors on Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر ویسے احسان فرما

just as You conferred a favor upon (Prophets) Moses and Aaron.

جیسے موسیٰؑ اور ہارونؑ پر فرمایا ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad just as You have honored us by him.

خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر ویسے رحمت نازل فرما جیسے تو نے ہم کو ان کے ذریعہ شرف دیا ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad just as You have guided us through him.

خدایا ان پر ویسے رحمت نازل فرما جیسے ان کے ذریعہ ہدایت دی ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما

and send his a praiseworthy standing due to which all the past and the coming generations shall covet him.

اور انھیں اس مقامِ محمود تک پہنچا دے جسے دیکھ کر اوّلین و آخرین غبطہ کریں۔

Upon Muhammad and his Household be peace whenever the sun rises and sets.

سلام محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر جب یہ آفتاب نکلے یا ڈوبے۔

Upon Muhammad and his Household be peace whenever an eye twinkles or glitters.

سلام محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر جب بھی آنکھ پھڑکے یا چمکے۔

Upon Muhammad and his Household be peace whenever peace is mentioned.

سلام محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر جب بھی ذکرِ سلام آئے۔

Upon Muhammad and his Household be peace whenever an angel glorifies or exalts Allah.

سلام محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر جب بھی کوئی فرشتہ اللہ کی تسبیح یا تقدیس کرے۔

Peace be upon Muhammad and his Household among the past generations.

سلام محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر اوّلین میں۔

Peace be upon Muhammad and his Household among the last generations.

سلام محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر آخرین میں۔

Peace be upon Muhammad and his Household in this world and in the Hereafter.

سلام محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر دنیا و آخرت میں۔

O Allah, Lord of the Holy Town,

خدایا اے محترم شہر کے مالک

Lord of the Rukn (Corner of Ka'bah) and the Maqam (Standing-place near Ka'bah),

اے رکن و مقام کے پروردگار۔

and Lord of legality and sanctuary,

اے حل و حرم کے صاحبِ اختیار۔

(please do) convey our greetings to Muhammad, Your Prophet.

اپنے نبی محمدؐ تک ہمارا سلام پہنچادے۔

O Allah, (please do) grant Muhammad brilliance, bloom,

خدایا حضرت محمدؐ کو رونق، تازگی،

delight, honor, happiness, right of intervention,

سرور، کرامت، فضیلت، وسیلہ،

(exalted) rank, (exalted) position, nobility, elevation,

منزلت، مقام، شرف، رفعت

and right of intercession before You on the Resurrection Day,

اور روزِ قیامت شفاعت عنایت فرما

in the best way You have ever granted to any of Your creations.

اس سے بہتر جو تو نے کسی بھی بندہ کو عطا کی ہے

(Please) grant Muhammad more than what You grant Your creatures

اور حضرت محمدؐ کو تمام خلائق سے

with many folds of goodness that none can count save You.

زیادہ کئی گُنا رحمت عنایت فرما جس کا تیرے علاوہ کوئی شمار نہ کرسکے۔

O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

خدایا محمدؐ وآل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما

with the most excellent, purest, most increasing, most growing,

ان پر پاکیزہ، طاہر، طیب، بڑھنے والی اور بہترین صلوات نازل فرما

and best blessings that You have ever conferred on anyone from the past and the coming generations

جو تو نے اوّلین و آخرین میں کسی پر نازل کی ہے

and on anyone of Your created beings. O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

یا اپنی کسی مخلوق پر نازل کی ہے، اے بہترین رحم کرنے والے۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to 'Ali, the Commander of the Believers,

خدایا علی امیرالمومنینؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما۔

be the supporter of any one who supports him, be the enemy of any one who provoke his enmity,

ان کے دوست سے محبّت اور ان کے دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

inflict double chastisement on any one who had a hand in the shedding of his blood.

اور جو اور جو ان کے خون میں شریک ہیں یہ ان کے عذاب میں اضافہ فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Fatimah, the daughter of Your Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household,

خدایا فاطمہؑ بنت حضرت محمدؐ اور ان کی آل پر رحمت نازل فرما

be the supporter of those who support her,

ان کے دوست سے محبّت

be the enemy of him who provoke her enmity,

اور ان کے دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

inflict double chastisement on those who wronged her,

اور اُن پر ظلم کرنے والوں کو دوہرا عذاب دے

and curse those who injured Your Prophet as they injured her.

اور ان کے اذیّت دینے والوں پر لعنت فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to al-Hasan and al-Husayn, the two leaders of the Muslims,

خدایا حسنؑ و حسینؑ مسلمانوں کے امام ہیں ان پر رحمت نازل فرما

be the supporter of any one who supports them,

اور ان کے دوستوں سے محبّت

be the enemy of any one who provoke their enmity,

اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما۔

and inflict double chastisement on any one who had a hand in the shedding of their blood.

اور ان کے خون میں شریک ہونے والوں کے عذاب میں اضافہ فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to 'Ali ibn al-Husayn, the leader of Muslims,

خدایا حضرت علیؑ بن الحسینؑ امام المسلمین پر رحمت نازل فرما۔

be the supporter of any one who supports him,

اور ان کے دوستوں سے دوستی

be the enemy of any one who invokes his enmity,

اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

and inflict double chastisement upon any one who wronged him.

اور ان پر ظلم کرنے والوں پر سخت ترین عذاب فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad ibn 'Ali, the leader of Muslims,

خدایا مسلمانوں کے امام حضرت محمدؑ بن علیؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما

be the supporter of any one who supports him,

اور ان کے دوستوں سے دوستی

be the enemy of any one who invokes his enmity,

اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

and inflict double chastisement upon any one who wronged him.

اور ان پر ظلم کرنے والوں پر سخت ترین عذاب نازل فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Ja'far ibn Muhammad, the leader of Muslims,

خدایا امام المسلمین جعفرؑ بن محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما ۔

be the supporter of any one who supports him,

ان کے دوستوں سے دوستی

be the enemy of any one who invokes his enmity,

اور دشمنوں نے دشمنی فرما

and inflict double chastisement upon any one who wronged him.

اور ان پر ظلم کرنے والوں پر سخت ترین عذاب نازل فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Musa ibn Ja'far, the leader of Muslims,

خدایا موسیٰؑ بن جعفرؑ امام المسلمین پر رحمت نازل فرما۔

be the supporter of any one who supports him,

ان کے دوست سے دوستی

be the enemy of any one who invokes his enmity,

اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

and inflict double chastisement upon any one who had hand in the shedding of his blood.

اور ان کے شرکاءِ خون پر سخت ترین عذاب نازل فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to 'Ali ibn Musa, the leader of Muslims,

خدایا علیؑ بن موسیٰؑ امام المسلمین پر رحمت نازل فرما۔

be the supporter of any one who supports him,

اور ان کے دوستوں سے دوستی

be the enemy of any one who invokes his enmity,

اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

and inflict double chastisement upon any one who had a hand in the shedding of his blood.

اور ان کے شرکاءِ خون پر سخت ترین عذاب نازل فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad ibn 'Ali, the leader of Muslims,

خدایا امام المسلمین محمدؑ بن علیؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما

be the supporter of any one who supports him,

اور ان کے دوستوں سے دوستی

be the enemy of any one who invokes his enmity,

اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

and inflict double chastisement upon any one who wronged him.

اور ان کے ظالمین پر سخت ترین عذاب نازل فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to 'Ali ibn Muhammad, the leader of Muslims,

خدایا امام المسلمین علیؑ بن محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما

be the supporter of any one who supports him,

اور ان کے دوستوں سے دوستی

be the enemy of any one who invokes his enmity,

اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

and inflict double chastisement upon any one who wronged him.

اور ان کے ظالموں پر سخت ترین عذاب نازل فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to alii as an ibn 'Ali, the leader of Muslims,

خدایا حسنؑ بن علیؑ امام المسلمین پر رحمت نازل فرما

be the supporter of any one who supports him,

اور ان کے دوستوں سے دوستی

be the enemy of any one who invokes his enmity,

اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

and inflict double chastisement upon any one who wronged him.

اور ان کے ظالموں پر سخت ترین عذاب نازل فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to the Successor after him, the leader of Muslims,

خدایا ان کے بعد ان کے خلف امام المسلمین پر رحمت نازل فرما

be the supporter of any one who supports him,

اور ان کے دوستوں سے دوستی

be the enemy of any one who invokes his enmity,

اور دشمنوں سے دشمنی فرما

and expedite his Relief.

اور ان کے ظہور میں تعجیل فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to al-Qasim and al-Tahir, the two sons of Your Prophet.

خدایا اپنے نبیؐ کے فرزند قاسم اور طاہر پر رحمت نازل فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Ruqayyah, the daughter of Your Prophet

خدایا اپنے نبی کی پروردہ رقیہ پر رحمت نازل فرما

and curse those who injured Your Prophet through wronging her.

اور ان کے بارے میں نبی کو اذیّت دینے والے پر لعنت فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Umm-Kulthum, the daughter of Your Prophet

خدایا اپنے نبی کی پروردہ ام کلثوم پر رحمت نازل فرما

and curse those who injured Your Prophet through wronging her.

اور ان کے بارے میں نبیؐ کو اذیّت دینے والوں پر لعنت فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to the offspring of Your Prophet.

خدایا رحمت نازل فرما اپنے نبیؐ کی ذریّت پر۔

O Allah, (please) be the representative of Your Prophet among his Household.

خدایا تو ہی اپنے نبیؐ کی جگہ پر ان کے اہل بیتؑ کا محافظ بن جا

O Allah, (please do) grant them power in the land.

اور انھیں زمین میں اقتدار عنایت فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) include us with their troop, their aides,

ہمیں ان کے گروہ میں ان کے حق کے بارے میں

and their supporters on confirming the truth secretly and openly.

ان کے ظاہری و باطنی انصار و اعوان میں شمار فرما۔

O Allah, (please do) retaliate upon those who wronged and slew them, and those who shed their blood.

خدایا ان کے خونِ ناحق کا بدلہ لے اور ہم سے،

And (please) save us, them, and every believing man and women

ان سے اور ہر مومن و مومنہ سے،

the evil of all tyrants and transgressors,

ہر باغی و طاغی کے شر کو دور فرما۔

and every living creature that You hold it by its forelock.

ہر رینگنے والے کے شر سے جس کی پیشانی تیری گرفت میں ہے

Verily, You are the strongest in prowess and the strongest to give an exemplary punishment.

کہ تو سخت عذاب دینے والا اور انتقام لینے والا ہے۔

Sayyid Ibn Tawus adds: You may also say the following:

O my means in troubles!

اے رنج و غم میں میرے ذخیرہ،

O my Companion in hardships!

اے شدّت میں میرے ساتھی،

O Provider of my amenities!

اے نعمت کے ولی،

O utmost of my desires!

اے رغبتوں کی انتہا،

It is You Who conceals my defects,

اے رازوں کے پردہ پوش،

Who relieves my apprehensions,

اے خوف میں امان دینے والے

and Who overlooks my slips.

اور لغزشوں میں سنبھالنے والے

So, (please do) forgive my sin.

میری خطاؤں کو معاف کردے

O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

یا ارحم الراحمین۔

You may also say the following:

O Allah, I beseech You about a grief that none can relieve save You,

خدایا میں تجھے اس رنج کے لیے پکارتا ہوں جو تیرے علاوہ کوئی دور نہیں کرسکتا ہے

for mercy that cannot be attained except through You,

اور اس رحمت کے لیے آواز دیتا ہوں جو تیرے بغیر مل نہیں سکتی ہے

about hardship from which none can rescue except You,

اور اس رنج کے لیے دعا کرتا ہوں جو تیرے علاوہ کوئی زائل نہیں کرسکتا ہے

for desire that cannot be obtained except by You,

اور اس رغبت کے لیے پکارتا ہوں جو تیرے بغیر حاصل نہیں ہوسکتی ہے

and for a need that none can settle save You.

اور اس حاجت کے لیے جس کو تیرے علاوہ کوئی پورا نہیں کرسکتا ہے۔

O Allah, just as You have decided to allow me to pray You

مالک جیسے تیرا کرم تھا کہ تو نے ہمیں سوال کی اجازت دے دی

and had mercy upon me through allowing me to refer to You,

اور اپنے ذکر کی مہربانی فرمائی۔

so also, please, my Master, decide to respond to me in what I have prayed You for,

اب یہ بھی تیرا کرم ہوجائے کہ میری دعا کو قبول کرلے

confer upon me the favors for which I have hoped You,

اور میری امیدوں کے مطابق نعمتیں عطا فرمادے

and grant me redemption from that against which I have resorted to You.

اور جن چیزوں سے ڈرتا ہوں ان سے نجات دے دے

But if I do not deserve to attain Your mercy,

اور اگر میں اس کا اہل نہیں ہوں کہ تیری رحمت تک پہنچ جاؤں

then, Your mercy is too wide to avoid including and covering me.

تو تیری رحمت اس کی اہل ہے کہ مجھ تک پہنچ جائے اور میرے شاملِ حال ہوجائے

If I do not deserve Your response,

اور اگر میں اجابت کا اہل نہیں ہوں

then, You are the worthiest of granting favors

تو تو اہلِ فضل ہے

and Your mercy has covered all things.

اور تیری رحمت ہر شئے کو شامل ہے۔

So, let Your mercy include me, O my God.

لہٰذا اب میرے بھی شاملِ حال ہوجائے۔

O All-generous! I beseech You in the name of Your Noble Face

اے خدائے کریم میں تیرے وجہ کریم کا واسطہ دے کر سوال کرتا ہوں کہ

to bless Muhammad and his Household,

محمدؐ اور ان کے اہل بیتؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما

relieve my grief,

اور میرے رنج و غم کو دور فرما۔

release me from my hardship and agony,

مجھے ہم و غم سے نجات عطا فرما

have mercy upon me out of Your mercy,

اور اپنی رحمت سے مہربانی فرما۔

and confer on me with Your favor.

اپنے فضل سے رزق عطا فرما کہ

You are verily the Hearer of prayers, the Nigh, and the Responding.

تو ہر دعا کا سننے والا ہے، بندوں سے قریب اور دعاؤں کا قبول کرنے والا ہے۔

Fourth: Both Shaykh al-Tusi and Sayyid ibn Tawus have recommended saying the following supplicatory prayer throughout the days of Ramadan:

O Allah, I beseech You to grant me from the best of Your favors,

خدایا میں تیرے فضل میں بہترین فضل کے وسیلہ سے سوال کرتا ہوں

and all Your favors are excellent.

حالانکہ تیرا ہر فضل بہترین ہے

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your whole favor.

اور میں تیرے ہر فضل کے ذریعہ سوال کرتا ہوں۔

O Allah, I beseech You to grant me from the most widespread of Your sustenance,

خدایا میں تیرے وسیع ترین رزق کے ذریعہ سوال کرتا ہوں

and all Your sustenance is widespread.

جب کہ تیرا ہر رزق وسیع ترین ہے

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your whole sustenance.

اور میں تیرے ہر رزق کے ذریعہ سوال کرتا ہوں۔

O Allah, I beseech You to grant me from the most wholesome of Your bestowal,

پروردگار میں تیری خوشگوار ترین عطا کا سوال کرتا ہوں

and Your entire bestowal is wholesome.

جب کہ تیری ہر عطا خوشگوار ہے

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your entire bestowal.

اور میں تیری ہر عطا کے ذریعہ سوال کرتا ہوں۔

O Allah, I beseech You to grant me from Your most instant welfare,

خدایا میں تیرے ہر با سُرعت خیر کا سوال کرتا ہوں

and Your entire welfare is instant.

جب کہ تیرا ہر خیر جلد آنے والا ہے

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your entire welfare.

اور میں تیرے ہر خیر کے ذریعہ سوال کرتا ہوں۔

O Allah, I beseech You to grant me from You most excellent benevolence,

خدایا میں تیرے بہترین احسان کے ذریعہ سوال کرتا ہوں

and Your entire benevolence is excellent.

جب کہ تیرا ہر احسان حسن ہے

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your entire benevolence.

اور میں تیرے ہر احسان کے ذریعہ سوال کرتا ہوں۔

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of all that through which You respond to me if I beseech You;

خدایا میں اس کرم کے ذریعہ سوال کرتا ہوں جس سے تو میری دعا کو قبول کرلیتا ہے

therefore, (please do) respond to me, O Allah.

لہٰذا اب قبول کرلے۔

And (please do) send blessings to Muhammad, Your pleased servant,

اے اللہ حضرت محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما جو تیرے منتخب بندہ

chosen Messenger,

اور تیرے مصطفیٰ رسول ہیں۔

trustee, Your confidant one among all Your beings,

تیرے امین اور مخلوقات میں تیرے مخصوص ہیں۔

selected one among all Your servants,

بندوں میں پاکیزہ ہیں۔

true Prophet, and Your much-loved one.

تیرے نبی صداقت ہیں اور تیرے محبوب ہیں۔

And (please do) send blessings to (him); Your messenger, Your choicest among all people,

رحمت نازل فرما اپنے رسول پر اور عالمین کے منتخب

the conveyor of good tidings (for the believers), the warner,

بشیر و نذیر

and the luminous lantern;

اور سراج منیر پر

and (please do send blessings) to his Household, the pious and the immaculate;

اور ان کے اہل بیتِؑ اطہار و ابرار پر

and to Your angels whom You have attached to Yourself

اور ان ملائکہ پر جن کو اپنے لیے مخصوص کیا ہے

and concealed against Your beings;

اور مخلوقات سے پوشیدہ رکھا ہے

and to Your Prophets who convey Your instructions truly;

اور ان انبیاء پر جو تیری طرف سے بھیجی ہوئی سچّی خبر لائے ہیں۔

and to Your Messengers whom You have given exclusively Your Revelations

ان رسولوں پر جن کو تو نے وحی کے لیے مخصوص کیا ہے

and made excel the others by means of Your messages;

اور اپنے پیغام کے ذریعہ عالمین سے افضل بنایا ہے

and to Your righteous servants

اور اپنے ان نیک بندوں پر

whom You have included with Your mercy,

جن کو تو نے اپنی رحمت میں داخل کیا ہے۔

the guides, the well-guided, the orthodox, and Your pure saints;

وہ ائمہ ہدایت یافتہ ہیں اور راشدین ہیں اور تیرے اولیاء ہیں جو پاک و پاکیزہ ہیں

and to (Archangels) Gabriel, Michael, Seraph, and the Angel of Death;

اور جبرئیلؑ و میکائیلؑ و اسرافیلؑ و ملک الموت پر

and to Ridwan the Keeper of Paradise;

اور خازنِ جنّت رضوان پر

and to Malik the Keeper of Hell,

اور خازنِ جہنّم مالک پر

and the Holy Spirit,

اور روح القدس پر

the Spirit of Faith,

اور روح الامین پر

and the Favorite Bearers of Your Throne;

اور تمام حاملانِ عرش پر

and to the two angels who watch over me—

اور ان دو فرشتوں پر جو میرے محافظ ہیں

[bless them all with] blessings that You desire that the inhabitants of the heavens and the inhabitants of the earth pray You to send to them;

اس صلوات کے ذریعہ جس کے بارے میں تو چاہتا ہے کہ تمام آسمان و زمین کے رہنے والے ان پر صلوات بھیجیں،

blessings that are pure, abundant,

بے شمار، بابرکت، طیب و طاہر،

holy, genuine, growing, evident,

ظاہر و باطن، شریف

deep, honorable, and virtuous

اور فاضل صلوات

through which You obviously demonstrate their precedence over the past and the coming generations.

جس کے ذریعہ تو اوّلین و آخرین پر ان کے فضل کا اظہار کرتا ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) give Muhammad subtle way, honor, and precedence,

خدایا حضرت محمدؐ کو وسیلہ و شرف اور فضیلت عنایت فرما

and reward him with the best reward that You ever give to a Prophet on behalf of his nation.

اور ہماری طرف سے وہ جزا دے جو کسی بھی نبی کو اس کی امّت کی طرف سے دی ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) give Muhammad— peace of Allah be upon him and his Household—an additional proximity witheach proximity that You decide for him;

خدایا حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ کو ہر قرب کے ساتھ قرب

and an additional subtle means witheach means that You decide for him;

اور ہر وسیلہ کے ساتھ وسیلہ

and an additional merit witheach merit that You decide for him;

اور ہر فضیلت کے ساتھ فضیلت

and an additional honor witheach honor that You decide for him.

اور ہر شرف کے ساتھ شرف عنایت فرما

And (please do) give Muhammad and his Household, on the Resurrection Day, the best of all that which You have given to any of Your creatures from the past and the coming generations.

اور روزِ قیامت ان سب سے بہتر عطا فرما جو اوّلین و آخرین میں کسی کو دیا ہے۔

O Allah, (please do) choose for Muhammad—peace of Allah be upon him and his Household— the nearest position to You,

خدایا حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ کو جو امام المرسلین ہیں قریب ترین جگہ

the most expansive abode in Paradise in Your vicinity,

اور جنّت میں وسیع ترین منزل

and the most effective means to You.

اور قریب ترین وسیلہ عنایت فرما

And (please do) make him the chief interceder,

انھیں پہلا شافع

the chief mediator,

اور پہلا مقبول الشفاعۃ

the first speaker,

اور پہلا بولنے والا

and the most successful petitioner.

اور کامیاب ترین سوال کرنے والا قرار دے دے

And (please do) send him the Praiseworthy Standing due to which all the past and coming generations will envy him.

اور ان کو اس مقامِ محمود تک پہنچا دے جس کی حسرت اوّلین و آخرین کو ہے

O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

اے بہترین رحم کرنے والے

I beseech You to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

میرا سوال ہے کہ محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما

to hear my voice,

اور میری آواز کو سُن لے

to respond to my plea,

میری دعا کو قبول کرلے،

to overlook my sins,

میری خطاؤں سے درگذر فرما۔

to excuse my wrongdoings,

میرے ظلم سے چشم پوشی فرما

to give success to my request,

میری طلب کو کامیاب فرما،

to grant my needs,

میری حاجت کو پورا فرما۔

to fulfill Your promise to me,

میرے وعدہ کو وفا فرما،

to let off my offense,

میری لغزش میں مجھے سنبھال لے،

to forgive my sins,

میرے گناہ کو معاف کردے۔

to pardon my evildoings,

میرے جرم کو بخش دے

to accept me and not to reject me,

اور میری طرف توجہ فرما اور اعراض نہ فرما

to have mercy upon me and not to punish me,

مجھ پر رحم کر اور عذاب نہ فرما۔

to grant me good health and not to afflict me,

مجھے عافیت دے اور مبتلا نہ کرنا۔

and to grant me from the nicest and most extensive sustenance and not to deprive me (of Your sustenance).

مجھے رزق دینا جو پاکیزہ ترین ہو اور وسیع ترین ہو مجھے اس سے محروم نہ رکھنا۔

O my Lord, (please do) help me settle my debts,

میرے قرض کو ادا کردے

relieve me of my burdens,

میرے بوجھ کو اُتارلے

and do not impose on me that which I have not the strength to bear.

اور مجھ پر وہ بوجھ نہ ڈالنا جس کی میرے پاس طاقت نہیں ہے۔

O my Master, (please do) include me withevery good item with which You have included Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

مجھے ہر اس خیر میں داخل کردے جس میں محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ کو داخل کیا ہے

and take me out of any evil from which You have taken out Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

اور ہر اس بُرائی سے نکال لے جس سے محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ کو نکالا ہے۔

Your blessings be upon him and them.

جن پر تیری رحمتوں کا نزول ہے۔

Peace, Allah’s mercy, and blessings be upon him and them.

تیرا سلام ان تمام حضرات پر اور ساری رحمت و برکت ان ہی کے لیے۔

You may then repeat the following words times:

O Allah, I am praying You as You have ordered me to do;

خدایا میں تجھ سے اس طرح مانگتا ہوں جیسے تو نے کہا ہے

so, please respond to me as You have promised.

تو تو بھی اس طرح قبول کرلے جس طرح تو نے وعدہ کیا ہے۔

You may then continue as follows:

O Allah, I ask You for a little from the very much

خدایا میں تجھ سے کثیرِ ضروریات میں سے قلیل کا سوال کرتا ہوں

in the midst of my many needs for which I entirely depend on You,

حالانکہ میری حاجت کثیر ہے

and You, since eternity, are able to do without them,

اور تو اس سے ہمیشہ سے بے نیاز ہے۔

but for me, it is titanic,

یہ چیزیں میرے واسطے بہت ہیں

and for You, it is very easy and simple.

لیکن تیرے لیے بہت آسان ہیں۔

So, (please do) bestow upon me with them, for You have power over all things.

مجھ پر مہربانی فرمادے اس لیے کہ تو ہر شئے پر قادر ہے۔

Respond to me, O Lord of the worlds!.

آمین ربّ العالمین۔

Fifth: It is recommended to say the supplicatory prayer that begins with:

O Allah, I am praying You as You have ordered me to do; so, please respond to me as You have promised...

خدایا میں ویسے ہی مانگتا ہوں جیسے تو نے حکم دیا ہے اور تو ویسے ہی قبول فرمالے جیسے تو نے وعدہ کیا ہے۔...

Because of its lengthiness, this supplicatory prayer will not be mentioned herein. However, the gentle readers are advised to refer to the books of Iqbal al-A’mal or Zad al-Ma’ad to find it.

Sixth: In al-Muqni’ah, Shaykh al-Mufid has narrated on the authority of the trustworthy master scholar, Ali ibn Mahziyar, that Imam Muhammad al-Naqi(a.s.) said that it is recommended to say the following supplicatory prayer as many times as possible during the month of Ramadan on days and at nights from the beginning of the month to its end:

O He Who has existed before all things,

اے وہ جو ہر شئے سے پہلے تھا

then created all things,

پھر ہر شئے کو پیدا کیا

and then stays while all things vanish!

پھر وہ باقی رہے گا اور ہر شئے فنا ہوجائے گی۔

O He Whose like is not found at all!

اے وہ جس کا کوئی مثل نہیں ہے۔

O He neither in the highest heavens

اے وہ کہ جو بلندترین آسمانوں میں

nor in the lowest layers of the earth,

اور پست ترین زمینوں میں ہے

nor above them, nor beneath them,

اور ان سے اوپر اور ان سے نیچے

nor there is between them any god that is worshipped save Him.

اور ان کے درمیان اس کے علاوہ کوئی قابلِ پرستش خدا نہیں ہے

To You be the praise that none can count save You.

تیرے لیے وہ حمد ہے جس کو تیرے علاوہ کوئی شمار نہیں کرسکتا ہے

So, please bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما

with blessings that none can count save You.

وہ رحمت جس کو تیرے علاوہ کوئی شمار نہ کرسکے۔

Seventh: Al-Kaf’ami, in al-Balad al-Amin and al-Misbah, has quoted from Kitab al-Ikhtiyar of Sayyid Ibn Baqi that if one says the following supplicatory prayer everyday in Ramadan, Almighty Allah will forgive the sins he has committed for forty years:

O Allah, the Lord of the month of Ramadan

خدایا اے ماہِ رمضان کے مالک

in which You revealed the Qur'an

تو نے جس میں قرآن کو نازل کیا ہے

and imposed fasting on Your servants!

اور اپنے بندوں پر روزہ کو واجب کیا ہے،

(Please) grant me opportunity to go on pilgrimage to Your Holy House,

مجھے توفیقِ حجِّ بیت اللہ عنایت فرما

in this year and every year,

اس سال بلکہ ہر سال

and forgive my serious sins,

اور میرے عظیم گناہوں کو معاف کردے کہ

for none can forgive them save You,

عظیم گناہوں کو تیرے علاوہ کوئی معاف نہیں کرسکتا ہے۔

O Lord of majesty and honor.

اے صاحبِ جلال و اکرام۔

Eighth: It is recommended to repeat the following doxology (zikr) one hundred times every day in Ramadan, as is mentioned by al-Fayd al-Kashani in Khulasat al-Adhkar.

Glory be to Him Who can expose anyone to loss or to gain.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ جس کے ہاتھ میں نفع و نقصان ہے

Glory be to the Judge with truth.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ جو حق کا فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے۔

Glory be to the Most High, the All-high.

پاکیزہ ہے خدائے علی اعلیٰ ۔

Glory be to Him and to glorify Him is one of His graces.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اور حمد اسی کے لیے ہے۔

Glory be to Him and most Exalted be He.

پاکیزہ ہے وہ اور بلندی اسی کے لیے ہے۔

Ninth: In his book of al-Muqni’ah, Shaykh al-Mufid has mentioned that one of the most advisable rites in Ramadan is to invoke Almighty Allah’s blessings upon the Holy Prophet at least one hundred times a day; and the more the better.
