ماہِ رمضان کی ہر شب میں اعمال و دعا پڑھنے کی تاکید
Twelfth: It is recommended to say the following supplicatory prayer every night in Ramadan:
اَللّٰهُمَّ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي الصَّالِحِيْنَ فَاَدْخِلْنَا،
O Allah, (please do) include us with the righteous ones, out of Your mercy,
خدایا اپنی رحمت سے ہمیں صالحین میں داخل فرما دے۔
وَفِي عِلِّيِّيْنَ فَارْفَعْنَا،
uplift us to the rank of 'illiyyin (most elevated rank),
علیّین میں بلند مرتبہ بنادے
وَبِكَاْسٍ مِنْ مَعِيْنٍ
serve us with water
اور اپنے چشمۂ شیریں
مِنْ عَيْنٍ سَلْسَبِيْلٍ فَاسْقِنَا،
running out of spring of Salsabil,
سلسبیل سے سیراب کردے۔
وَمِنَ الْحُوْرِ الْعِيْنِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فَزَوِّجْنَا،
out of Your mercy, give us as wives the Paradisiacal women,
اپنی رحمت سے حوالعین سے ہمارا عقد کرادے
وَمِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ الْمُخَلَّدِيْنَ
make the Paradisiacal youths who never alter in age
اور جنّت کے دائمی غلمانوں کو
كَاَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌ مَكْنُوْنٌ فَاَخْدِمْنَا،
and who are like hidden pearls serve us,
جو پوشیدہ موتیوں جیسے ہیں ہمارا خدمت گزار بنادے۔
وَمِنْ ثِمَارِ الْجَنَّةِ وَلُحُوْمِ الطَّيْرِ فَاَطْعِمْنَا،
give us food from the fruits of Paradise and from the meat of birds there,
جنّت کے پھل اور پرندوں کے گوشت کی غذا عطا فرما۔
وَمِنْ ثِيَابِ السُّنْدُسِ وَالْحَرِيْرِ وَالْاِسْتَبْرَقِ فَاَلْبِسْنَا،
dress us from the clothes of fine and thick silk and rich brocade,
سندس و ریشم و استبرق کے لباس پہنادے۔
وَلَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ
give us success to catch the Grand Night,
شبِ قدر،
وَحَجَّ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ،
lead us to pilgrimage to Your Holy House
حجِّ بیت اللہ
وَقَتْلًا فِيْ سَبِيْلِكَ فَوَفِّقْ لَنَا،
and martyrdom in Your way,
اور راہِ خدا میں شہادت کی توفیق عطا فرما۔
وَصَالِحَ الدُّعَاۤءِ وَالْمَسْاَلَةِ فَاسْتَجِبْ لَنَا،
and respond to our goodly prayer and supplication.
بہترین دعا اور بہترین سوال کو قبول فرمالے۔
وَاِذَا جَمَعْتَ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ وَالْاٰخِرِيْنَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَارْحَمْنَا
When You shall gather the past and the coming generations on the Resurrection Day, (please) have mercy upon us.
جب روزِ قیامت اوّلین و آخرین کا اجتماع ہو تو ہم پر رحم کرنا
وَبَرَاۤءَةً مِنَ النَّارِ فَاكْتُبْ لَنَا،
(Please) release us from Hellfire.
اور ہمارے لیے جہنّم سے برائت لکھ دینا۔
وَفِي جَهَنَّمَ فَلَا تَغُلَّنَا،
Do not fetter us in Hell,
ہمیں جہنّم میں اسیر نہ کرنا
وَفِيْ عَذَابِكَ وَهَوَانِكَ فَلَا تَبْتَلِنَا،
do not try us through Your chastisement and humiliations,
اور اپنے عذاب اور ذلّت میں مبتلا نہ کرنا
وَمِنَ الزَّقُّوْمِ وَالضَّرِيْعِ فَلَا تُطْعِمْنَا،
do not feed us from zaqqum and thorns,
ہمیں زقّوم اور جہنّمی گھاس کی غذا نہ دینا
وَمَعَ الشَّيَاطِيْنِ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنَا،
do not add us to the devils,
اور شیاطین کے ساتھ قرار نہ دینا۔
وَفِي النَّارِ عَلٰى وُجُوْهِنَا فَلَا تَكْبُبْنَا،
do not throw us down on our faces in Hellfire,
ہمیں جہنّم میں منہ کے بھل نہ ڈال دینا
وَمِنْ ثِيَابِ النَّارِ وَسَرَابِيْلِ الْقَطِرَانِ فَلَا تُلْبِسْنَا،
do not dress us from the clothes of fire and the shirts of tar,
اور جہنّم کے لباس یا قطران کی پوشاک نہ پہنا دینا۔
وَمِنْ كُلِّ سُوٓءٍ يَا لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ
and save us from all evils; O He save Whom there is no god!
ہمیں ہر بُرائی سے نجات دینا، اے وہ خدا جس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے
بِحَقِّ لَا اِلٰـهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ فَنَجِّنَا۔
I beseech You in the name of there is no god save You.
تجھے تیری ہی وحدانیت کا واسطہ۔
Thirteenth: Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) is reported to have instructed to say the following supplicatory prayer every night in Ramadan:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنّي اَسْاَلُكَ اَنْ تَجْعَلَ فِيْـمَا تَقْضِيْ وَتُقَدِّرُ
O Allah, I beseech You to decide for me
خدایا میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ مجھے ان میں قرار دے دے
مِنَ الْاَمْرِ الْمَحْتُوْمِ فِى الْاَمْرِ الْحَكِيْمِ،
while taking decisions and rendering possible things and events decisively—
تو بہترین باحکمت فیصلے جو اس ماہِ رمضان میں جاری کرتا ہے
مِنَ الْقَضَاۤءِ الَّذِيْ لَا يُرَدُّ وَلَا يُبَدَّلُ
decisions which can not be changed or bypassed—
جن کو نہ کوئی پلٹا سکتا ہے اور نہ بدل سکتا ہے
اَنْ تَكْتُبَنِيْ مِنْ حُجَّاجِ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ،
to write my name in the list of those pilgrims of Your Holy House
ان میں سے قرار دے جسے تو اپنے گھر کے ان حجّاج میں لکھ دے
الْمَبْرُوْرِ حَجُّهُمُ،
whose pilgrimage receives Your approval,
جن کا حج قبول ہو،
الْمَشْكُوْرِ سَعْيُهُمُ
whose efforts are appreciated,
جن کی سعی مشکور ہو،
الْمَغْفُوْرِ ذُنُوْبُهُمْ،
whose sins are forgiven,
جن کے گناہ معاف ہوں
الْمُكَفَّرِ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ،
whose wrongdoings are overlooked,
اور جن کی خطاؤں سے درگذر کیا جائے
وَاَنْ تَجْعَلَ فِيْـمَا تَقْضِيْ وَتُقَدِّرُ،
and, while making decisions and rendering possible things and events,
اور اپنے قضا و قدر میں یہ بھی قرار دے دے کہ
اَنْ تُطِيْلَ عُمْرِيْ فِيْ خَيْرِ وَعَافِيَةٍ،
make possible for me long life, goodness, welfare,
میری زندگی خیر و عافیت کے ساتھ طولانی ہو۔
وَتُوَسِّعَ فِيْ رِزْقِي،
and enough means of livelihood,
میرے رزق میں وسعت عطا فرما
وَتَجْعَلَنِيْ مِمَّنْ تَنْتَصِرُ بِهِ لِدِيْنِكَ
include me with those whom You use for backing Your Religion,
اور مجھے ان لوگوں میں قرار دے دے جن کے ذریعہ تو دین کی مدد کرتا ہے
وَلَا تَسْتَبْدِلْ بِيْ غَيْرِيْ۔
and do not substitute another in my place.
اور میری جگہ پر کسی دوسرے کو نہ رکھ دینا۔
Fourteenth: According to the book of Anis al-Salihin, it is recommended to say the following supplicatory prayer every night in Ramadan:
اَعُوْذُ بِجَلَالِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيْمِ
I seek refuge with the majesty of Your Honorable Face
میں خدائے کریم کی ذات اقدس کی پناہ چاہتا ہوں
اَنْ يَنْقَضِيَ عَنِّي شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ،
against that the month of Ramadan elapses
اس بات سے کہ ماہِ رمضان گذر جائے
اَوْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ مِنْ لَيْلَتِيْ هٰذِهِ،
or dawn breaks this night,
یا آج رات کی صبح ہوجائے
وَلَكَ قِبَلِيْ تَبِعَةٌ اَوْ ذَنْبٌ تُعَذِّبُنِيْ عَلَيْهِ۔
and there is still a sin or an offense in my record for which You may chastise me.
اور میرے ذمّہ کوئی مؤاخذہ یا کوئی گناہ باقی رہ جائے جس پر مالک مجھے عذاب کرسکے۔
Fifteenth: In the margin of al-Balad al-Amin, al-Kaf’ami has reported on the authority of Sayyid Ibn Baqi that it is recommended to offer a two unit prayer every night in Ramadan, reciting in the first unit Surah al-Faatehah once and repeating Surah al-Tawheed three times. After accomplishment, it is recommended to say the following litany:
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ حَفِيْظٌ لَا يَغْفُلُ،
Glory be to Him Who watches over, never leaves anything undone, or is neglectful.
پاکیزہ ہے وہ جو ایسا حفاظت کرنے والا جو غافل نہیں ہوتا ہے۔
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ رَحِيْمٌ لَا يَعْجَلُ،
Glory be to Him Who is Merciful, never does a thing in haste.
پاکیزہ ہے وہ رحیم جو عذاب میں جلدی نہیں کرتا ہے۔
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ قَآ ئِمٌ لَا يَسْهُوْ،
Glory be to Him Who is vigilant, never forgets one thing over another.
پاکیزہ ہے وہ نگراں جو بھولتا نہیں ہے۔
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ دَاۤئِمٌ لَا يَلْهُوْ۔
Glory be to Him Who is alert and steady, never is engrossed with a thing so as to overlook another.
پاکیزہ ہے وہ ہمیشہ رہنے والا جو غافل نہیں ہوتا ہے۔
After that, it is recommended to say the al-Tasbihat al-Arba’ah (the Four Statements of Glorification) 7 times:
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ
All glory be to Allah,
خدا پاک ہے
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
all praise be to Allah,
اور حمد خدا ہی کے لیے ہے
وَلَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ
there is no god save Allah,
اور اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں
وَاللهُ اَكْبَرُ۔
and Allah is the Greatest.
اور اللہ بزرگ تر ہے۔
Then, it is recommended to say the following imploration for forgiveness:
سُبْحَانَكَ سُبْحَانَكَ سُبْحَانَكَ،
Glory be to You! Glory be to You! Glory be to You!
تو پاکیزہ ہے تو بے نیاز ہے تو منزّہ ہے
يَا عَظِيْمُ اغْفِرْ لِيَ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظيمَ۔
O All-great, forgive my grave sins.
اے خدائے عظیم میرے عظیم گناہوں کو معاف کردے۔
Then, it is recommended to invoke blessings upon the Holy Prophet and his Household ten times:
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلٰي اٰلِهِ۔
O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and upon his Household.
خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما
Almighty Allah will forgive seventy thousand sins of those who offer this prayer in the previous form.
Sixteenth: According to a Hadith, if one recites Surah al-Fath (No. 48) in a considerable prayer, he will be saved all over that year.
