● ۱۷ : ماہ رجب کی ایک رات میں دو رکعت نماز
Seventeenth: It is recommended to offer a sixty-unit prayer in Rajab. Each night, it is recommended to offer two units of this prayer in the first unit of which Surah al-Faatehah is recited once, Surah al-Kafirun repeated three times, and Surah al-Tawheed recited one time. After the accomplishment of the two prayer units, it is recommended to raise the hands towards the sky and say the following:
لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ
There is no god save Allah,
اس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے
وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ
the One and Only Who has no partner.
اور اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ہے۔
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ
To Him is the kingdom and to Him is all praise.
اسی کے لیے ملک ہے اور اسی کے لیے حمد ہے ۔
يُحْيِيْ وَ يُمِيْتُ
He restores to live and cause to die
وہی حیات دینے والا ہے اور وہی موت دینے والا ہے۔
وَ هُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوْتُ
and He is Ever-living and He never dies.
وہ زندہ ہے جس کے لیے موت نہیں ہے۔
بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ
In His Hands is all goodness,
سارا خیر اُسی کے ہاتھ میں ہے
وَ هُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
He has power over all things,
اور وہ ہر شئے پر قادر ہے
وَ اِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيْرُ
and to Him is the return of all things.
اور اُسی کی طرف سب کی بازگشت ہے۔
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ
There is neither might nor strength save with Allah, the Most High, the All-great.
کوئی قوّت و طاقت خدائے علیّ و عظیم کے علاوہ نہیں ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ وَ اٰلِهِ۔
O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad, the Ummi Prophet, and his Household.
خدایا حضرت محمدؐ نبیِّ امّی اور ان کی آلؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما۔
It is also recommended to pass one’s hand over the face while uttering the last statement. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) is reported to have said that if one offers this prayer and says this supplicatory prayer, Almighty Allah will respond to his needs and award him the reward of sixth times of Hajj and ‘Umrah (ritual pilgrimage).
