● ۸ : ہر نماز کے باد ماہ رجب میں اس دعا کو پڑھے
Eighth: Sayyid Ibn Tawus has narrated that Muhammad ibn Dhakwan - known as al-Sajjad due to his remarkable, time-consuming prostration during which he used to weep so heavily that he lost his sight - asked Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq(a.s.), saying, “May Allah accept me as ransom for you! We are now in Rajab; I therefore please you to teach me a supplicatory prayer due to which Almighty Allah may help me.” Hence, the Imam (a.s.) asked him to write down the following:
In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent the All-Merciful. You may say the following (supplicatory prayer) each day in Rajab; in mornings, evenings, and after each of the obligatory prayers:
يَا مَنْ اَرْجُوْهُ لِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ
O He Whom alone I hope for all good things
اے وہ خدا جس سے ہر خیر کی امید رکھتا ہوں
وَ آمَنُ سَخَطَهُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ شَرٍّ
and Whose wrath I do not expect when I do wrong!
اور ہر شر کے موقع پر اس کی ناراضگی سے امان چاہتا ہوں۔
يَا مَنْ يُعْطِيْ الْكَثِيْرَ بِالْقَلِيْلِ
O He Who recompenses the little deed with very much reward!
اے وہ خدا جو قلیل عمل پر کثیر ثواب دیتا ہے۔
يَا مَنْ يُعْطِيْ مَنْ سَاَلَهُ
O He Who answers one who begs Him!
اے وہ خدا جو اپنے تمام سائلوں کو دیتا ہے۔
يَا مَنْ يُعْطِيْ مَنْ لَمْ يَسْاَلْهُ وَ مَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ
O He Who gives those who do not ask Him and do not even recognize Him
اے وہ خدا جو اُسے بھی دیتا ہے جو اس سے سوال کرے اور اُسے بھی دیتا ہے جو سوال نہیں کرتا ہے بلکہ اُسے پہچانتا بھی نہیں ہے۔
تَحَنُّنًا مِنْهُ وَ رَحْمَةً
out of His kindness and mercifulness!
اپنی رحمت اور مہربانی کی بناپر
اَعْطِنِيْ بِمَسْاَلَتِيْ اِيَّاكَ جَمِيْعَ خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا
(Please do) give me, for I pray You, the whole welfare of this world
تو میرے سوال کی بناپر مجھے دنیا کی تمام نیکیاں
وَ جَمِيْعَ خَيْرِ الْآخِرَةِ
and the whole welfare of the Next World
و آخرت کی تمام نیکیاں دے دے
وَ اصْرِفْ عَنِّيْ بِمَسْاَلَتِيْ اِيَّاكَ
and save me, for I pray You,
اور مجھ سے مُوڑ دے
جَمِيْعَ شَرِّ الدُّنْيَا وَ شَرِّ الْآخِرَةِ
the whole evil of this world and the Next World.
دنیا و آخرت کی تمام برائیوں کو
فَاِنَّهُ غَيْرُ مَنْقُوْصٍ مَا اَعْطَيْتَ
Verily, all that which You give is unblemished.
کہ تو جس کو عطا کرے گا اُس میں کمی نہیں ہوگی۔
وَ زِدْنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ يَا كَرِيْمُ۔
(Please do) increase Your favors upon me, O All-generous!
اور پھر اپنے فضل سے اور اضافہ فرما دے اے خدائے کریم۔
The narrator then added that Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) then grasped his beard with his left hand, while saying this supplicatory prayer, and moved ceaselessly the forefinger of his right hand. He then added:
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْاِكْرَامِ
O Lord of Majesty and Honor!
اے صاحبِ جلال و اکرام
يَا ذَا النَّعْمَاءِ وَ الْجُوْدِ
O Lord of bliss and magnanimity!
اے صاحبِ نعمت و کرم
يَا ذَا الْمَنِّ وَ الطَّوْلِ
O Lord of favor and munificence!
اے صاحبِ احسان و عطا
حَرِّمْ شَيْبَتِي عَلَى النَّارِ۔
(Please do) rescue my white-hair heard from Hellfire.
میرے ان محاسن کو آتشِ جہنّم پر حرام کردے۔
