استغفار کی تلاوت کرنا
Shaykh al-Tusi has also recorded that it is recommended to say the following prayer of forgiveness at the last hour of Thursdays:
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ الَّذِيْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ
I pray the forgiveness of Allah; there is no god but He,
میں اس خدا سے معافی چاہتا ہوں جس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے۔
الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ
the Ever-living, the Self-Subsisting,
وہی زندہ اور پائندہ ہے
وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ
and I repent to Him
اور میں اس کی بارگاہ میں اس طرح توبہ کرتا ہوں
تَوْبَةَ عَبْدٍ خَاضِعٍ
as a slave who is submissive,
جس طرح ایک بندۂ خاضع و مسکین و ذلیل توبہ کرتا ہے
مِسْكِيْنٍ مُسْتَكِيْنٍ
acquiescent, and poor,
جس طرح ایک بندۂ خاضع و مسکین و ذلیل توبہ کرتا ہے
لَا يَسْتَطِيْعُ لِنَفْسِهِ صَرْفًا وَ لَا عَدْلًا
not controlling for himself any harm or profit,
جس کے اختیار میں نہ حالات کا بدلنا ہے
وَ لَا نَفْعًا وَ لَا ضَرًّا
or benefit or damage
اور نہ کوئی فائدہ ہے اور نہ کوئی نقصان ہے،
وَ لَا حَيَاةً وَ لَا مَوْتًا وَ لَا نُشُوْرًا
and not controlling death nor life, nor raising (the dead) to life.
نہ موت و زندگی ہے اور نہ حشر و نشر۔
وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ
May Allah send peace upon Muhammad
پروردگار حضرت محمدؐ
وَّ عِتْرَتِهِ الطَّيِّبِيْنَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ
and his Household; the pure, the immaculate,
اور ان کی طیب و طاہر اور نیک کردار
الْاَخْيَارِ الْاَبْرَارِ
the choicest, and the pious;
عظیم اولاد پر رحمت
وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْمًا ۔
and may He spread thorough blessings over them.
اور سلام نازل فرمائے۔
