اتوار کی دعا
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All- compassionate, the All-merciful.
بنام خدائے رحمٰن و رحیم
بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِىْ لَا اَرْجُوْ اِلَّا فَضْلَهٗ
In the name of Allah, from whom I hope for nothing but bounty,
اس خدا کے نام سے جس کے فضل کے علاوہ کسی سے امید،
وَ لَا اَخْشٰى اِلَّا عَدْلَهٗ
I fear nothing but justice,
جس کے عدل کے علاوہ کسی سے خوف
وَ لَا اَعْتَمِدُ اِلَّا قَوْلَهٗ
I rely upon nothing but His word,
جس کے قول کے علاوہ کسی پر اعتماد
وَ لَا اُمْسِكُ اِلَّا بِحَبْلِهٖ
and I cling to nothing but His Rope.
اور جس کی رسّی کے علاوہ کسی سے تمسک نہیں ہے۔
بِكَ اَسْتَجِيْرُ يَا ذَالْعَفْوِ وَالرِّضْوَانِ
In You do I seek sanctuary O Possessor of pardon and good pleasure
پروردگار! میں ظلم و ستم،
مِنَ الظُّلْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ
from wrong and enmity,
انقلابات زمانہ،
وَ مِنْ غِيَرِ الزَّمَانِ
from the vicissitudes of time
تسلسل آلام،
وَ تَوَاتُرِ الْاَحْزَانِ
from recurrence of sorrows,
تواتر حوادث
وَ طَوَارِقِ الْحَدَثَانِ
from the striking of mishaps,
اور تیاری و آمادگی سے پہلے
وَ مِنِ انْقِضَاۤءِ الْمُدَّةِ قَبْلَ التَّاَهُّبِ وَ الْعُدَّةِ
and from the expiration of the term before preparation and readiness.
وقت نکل جانے کے مقابلہ میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں
وَ اِيَّاكَ اَسْتَرْشِدُ لِمَا فِيْهِ الصَّلَاحُ وَالْاِصْلَاحُ
From You do I seek guidance to that wherein is righteousness and setting aright.
اور صلاح و اصلاح میں تیری ہدایت،
وَ بِكَ اَسْتَعِيْنُ فِيْمَا يَقْتَرِنُ بِهٖ النَّجَاحُ وَالْاِنْجَاحُ
From You do I seek help in that which is linked to success and favorable response.
ہر کامیابی و کامرانی میں تیری نصرت کا طلبگار ہوں۔
وَ اِيَّاكَ اَرْغَبُ فِىْ لِبَاسِ الْعَافِيَةِ وَ تَمَامِهَا
From You do I desire for the garment of wellbeing and its completion,
میری خواہش ہے کہ مکمل عافیت اور
وَ شُمُوْلِ السَّلَامَةِ وَ دَوَامِهَا
and the covering of health and its permanence.
دائمی سلامتی کا لباس عطا فرما۔
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ يَا رَبِّ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِيْنِ
I seek refuge in You, O my Lord, from the evil suggestions of the devils.
مجھے شیاطین کے اشارات اور
وَ اَحْتَرِزُ بِسُلْطَانِكَ مِنْ جَوْرِ السَّلَاطِيْنِ
I seek protection in Your sovereignty from the injustice of the sovereigns.
سلاطین کے مظالم سے محفوظ رکھنا۔
فَتَقَبَّلْ مَا كَانَ مِنْ صَلَاتِىْ وَ صَوْمِىْ
So, (please) accept my past prayers and fasting,
میری نماز اور میرے روزہ کو قبول فرما
وَاجْعَلْ غَدِىْ وَمَا بَعْدَهٗ اَفْضَلَ مِنْ سَاعَتِىْ وَ يَوْمِىْ
make my morrow and what is after it better than my present hour and my day,
اور میرے کل کو آج سے بہتر قرار دے۔
وَ اَعِزَّنِىْ فِىْ عَشِيْرَتِىْ وَ قَوْمِىْ
exalt me in my clan and people,
مجھے قوم و قبیلہ میں عزت عطا فرما
وَاحْفَظْنِىْ فِىْ يَقْظَتِىْ وَ نَوْمِىْ
and protect me in my waking and sleep,
اور سوتے جاگتے میرا تحفظ فرما۔
فَاَنْتَ اللهُ خَيْرٌ حَافِظًا
for You are Allah, the Best Guardian,
تو بہترین حفاظت کرنے والا
وَّ اَنْتَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
and You are the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
اور حقیقتاً ارحم الراحمین ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَبْرَءُ اِلَيْكَ فِىْ يَوْمِىْ هٰذَا
O Allah, I repudiate, before You on this day of mine
خدایا میں تجھ سے آج
وَ مَا بَعْدَهٗ مِنَ الْاَحَادِ
and on all Sundays that follow it,
اور آج کے بعد ہر یکشنبہ کو
مِنَ الشِّرْكِ وَالْاِلْحَادِ
polytheism and atheism.
شرک والحاد سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں
وَ اُخْلِصُ لَكَ دُعَاۤئِىْ
I devote my supplication sincerely to You,
یہ میری دعائے مخلصانہ ہے کہ
تَعَرُّضًا لِلْاِجَابَةِ
addressing myself to Your response.
شاید قبول ہو جائے
وَ اُقِيْمُ عَلٰى طَاعَتِكَ
I observe the acts of obedience to You
اور میری عبادت مسلسل ہے
رَجَاۤءً لِلْاِثَابَةِ
for hope of gaining Your rewards.
کہ شاید ثواب کا استحقاق پیدا ہو جائے۔
فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ خَيْرِ خَلْقِكَ
So, (please) bless Muhammad, the best of Your creation
اپنے بہترین مخلوق، حضرت محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما
الدَّاعِىْ اِلٰى حَقِّكَ
and the caller to Your truth,
اپنے حق کے داعی
وَ اَعِزَّنِىْ بِعِزِّكَ الَّذِىْ لَا يُضَامُ
and fortify me with Your almightiness, which is invulnerable,
اور مجھے اپنی زوال نا پذیر عزت سے سرفراز فرما
وَاحْفَظْنِىْ بِعَيْنِكَ الَّتِىْ لَا تَنَامُ
protect me with Your Eye, which never sleeps,
اور اپنی نہ سونے والی آنکھوں سے میری حفاظت فرما۔
وَاخْتِمْ بِالْاِنْقِطَاعِ اِلَيْكَ اَمْرِىْ
and seal my affair by acting devoutly to You
میرا خاتمہ تیری طرف توجہ پر ہو
وَ بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ عُمْرِىْ
and my life with forgiveness!
اور عمر مغفرت پر تمام ہو کہ
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ۔
Surely, You are the All-forgiving, the All- compassionate!
تو بہترین معاف کرنے والا اور بڑا مہربان ہے۔
