It is worth mentioning that Friday has relationship with Imam al-Mahdi - may Allah hasten his advent - from several aspects. On Friday, Imam al-Mahdi was born and on Friday, his delightful advent shall be. Hence, to expect Relief on Friday should be more intense than other days. In Imam al-Mahdi’s private Ziyarah on Fridays that will be mentioned later on in this book, the following statement is mentioned:
«هٰذَا يَوْمُ الْجُمْعَةُ،
Today is Friday,
یہ روزِ جمعہ ہے
وَ هُوَ يَوْمُكَ الْمُتَوَقَّعُ فِيْهِ ظُهُوْرَكَ،
which is your day on which we expect your advent
اور یہ وہی دن ہے جس میں آپ کے ظہور کی توقع ہے
وَ الْفَرَجُ فِيْهِ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ عَلٰى يَدِكَ»
that will bring about relief to the believers at your hands.
اور جس میں آپ کے ہاتھوں مومنوں کو آسودگی ہوگی۔
In fact, Friday has been decided as feast day just because it is the day on which Imam al-Mahdi(a.s.) will reappear in order to purify the entire earth from the filth of polytheism and atheism and from the dirt of acts of disobedience to Almighty Allah and from sins. He shall also annihilate the tyrants, the infidels, and the hypocrites. Thus, true believers shall be delighted and their hearts shall be tranquil since the Word of Truth shall prevail over all things and the true religion and creed shall be the dominant. On that day, too, the earth shall beam with the Light of its Lord. In view of that, it is highly recommended to say the major invocation of blessings upon the Holy Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt. It is also highly advisable to say the supplication that Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Rida(a.s.) advised to be said for the sake of Imam al-Mahdi, peace be upon him. The supplication, which will be cited in this book later on, begins with the following statement:
«اَللّٰهُمَّ ادْفَعْ عَنَّ وَلِيِّكَ وَ خَلِيْفَتِكَ»
O Allah, defend Your friend
اے خدا! اپنے ولی اور خلیفہ کا دفاع کر
It is also recommended to say the supplication that Shaykh Abu-’Amr al-’Amri dictated to Abu-Ali ibn Hammam and advised him to say it during the Occultation of Imam al-Mahdi, peace be upon him. Because this book is intended to be as brief as possible, this long supplication will be omitted. Yet, the gentle reader may find it, as well as the previously mention major invocation of blessings upon the Holy Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt, in the books of Misbah al-Mutahajjid and Jamal al-Usbu’.
It is also necessary not to overlook the famous invocation of blessings upon the Holy Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, that is ascribed to Abu’l-Hasan al-Darrab al-Isfahani. Shaykh al-Tusi and Sayyid Ibn Tawus have included this famous invocation with the recommended rites of Friday afternoons. Confirming its significance and writing down the series of its reporters, Sayyid Ibn Tawus adds, “This invocation is reported from our master Imam al-Mahdi, peace be upon him. So, if you have to neglect all the post-prayer litanies on Friday, try not to overlook this invocation for a matter that Almighty Allah has shown to me.”
As for Shaykh al-Tusi, he says, “This invocation is reported from the Patron of the Age, Imam al-Mahdi, peace be upon him. It was shown to Abu’l-Hasan al-Darrab in Makkah.”
Allowing for summary, the series of reporters will be overlooked. However, the supplication is as follows:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
بنام خدائے رحمان و رحیم،
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad, the master of the messengers (of Allah),
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ پر جو مرسلین کے سردار،
وَ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ
the seal of the Prophets,
انبیاء کے خاتم
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds [against His creatures]
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت ہیں۔
الْمُنْتَجَبِ فِي الْمِيْثَاقِ
who had been elected [for Prophethood] since the Covenant
روزِ میثاق ان کا
الْمُصْطَفٰى فِي الظِّلَالِ
and chosen since the World of Shadows,
انتخاب ہوا ہے۔
الْمُطَهَّرِ مِنْ كُلِّ اٰفَةٍ
and who is purified from all defects
ہر آفت سے پاکیزہ،
الْبَرِيۤءِ مِنْ كُلِّ عَيْبٍ
and freed from all deficiencies,
ہر عیب سے بری،
الْمُؤَمَّلِ لِلنَّجَاةِ
and who is hoped for salvation
نجات کے لیے مرکزِ امید،
الْمُرْتَجٰى لِلشَّفَاعَةِ
and expected for intercession,
شفاعت کے لیے منزل توقع ہیں
الْمُفَوَّضِ اِلَيْهِ دِيْنُ اللّٰهِ
and to whom the religion of Allah is delegated.
اور دینِ خدا ان کے حوالہ کردیا گیا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ شَرِّفْ بُنْيَانَهُ
O Allah, (please) confer honor upon his structure,
خدایا ان کی بنیادوں کو بلند تر فرمادے۔
وَ عَظِّمْ بُرْهَانَهُ
ennoble his authority,
ان کے برہان کو عظیم تر بنادے۔
وَ اَفْلِجْ حُجَّتَهُ
make successful his cogency,
ان کی دلیل کو کامیاب کردے۔
وَ ارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ
lift up his rank,
ان کے درجہ کو بلند فرما۔
وَ اَضِئْ نُوْرَهُ
light up his illumination,
ان کے نور کو تابانی عطا فرما۔
وَ بَيِّضْ وَجْهَهُ
make his face glow with whiteness,
ان کے چہرہ کو روشن فرما
وَ اَعْطِهِ الْفَضْلَ وَ الْفَضِيْلَةَ
grant him merit, virtue,
اور انھیں فضل و فضیلت و
وَ الْمَنْزِلَةَ وَ الْوَسِيْلَةَ
[supreme] position, [right of] mediation,
منزلت و وسیلہ
وَ الدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفِيْعَةَ
and sublime rank,
و درجۂ رفیعہ عطا فرما
وَ ابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُوْدًا
and send him a praiseworthy status
اور اس مقامِ محمود تک پہنچادے
يَغْبِطُهُ بِهِ الْاَوَّلُوْنَ وَ الْاٰخِرُوْنَ
which the past and last generations will wish to have.
جس پر اوّلین و آخرین غبطہ کریں۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
And send blessings to 'Ali, the Commander of the Believers,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما مومنین کے امیر۔
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ قَاۤئِدِ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِيْنَ
the leader of the white-forehead groups,
روشن پیشانی افراد کے قائد،
وَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ
the chief of the Prophets’ Successors,
اوصیاء کے سردار
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت پر۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
And send blessings to al-Hasan, the son of 'Ali,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت حسن بن علیؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
And send blessings to al-Husayn, the son of 'Ali,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت حسین بن علیؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ
And send blessings to 'Ali, the son of al-Husayn,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت علیؑ بن الحسینؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ،
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
And send blessings to Muhammad, the son of 'Ali,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؑ بن علیؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ
And send blessings to Ja'far, the son of Muhammad,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت جعفرؑ بن محمدؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ
And send blessings to Musa, the son of Ja'far,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت موسیٰؑ بن جعفرؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the, Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوْسٰى
And send blessings to 'Ali, the son of Musa,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت علیؑ بن موسیٰؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
And send blessings to Muhammad, the son of 'Ali,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؑ بن علیؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ
And send blessings to 'Ali, son of Muhammad,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت علیؑ بن محمدؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
And send blessings to al-Hasan, son of 'Ali,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت حسنؑ بن علیؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت تھے۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلَى الْخَلَفِ الْهَادِي الْمَهْدِيِّ
And send blessings to the Successor, the guide and well-guided,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما فرزندِ رسول ہادی مہدیؑ پر
اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
the leader of the faithful believers,
جو مومنین کے امام
وَ وَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
the inheritor of the Messengers,
مرسلین کے وارث
وَ حُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ،
and the argument of the Lord of the worlds.
اور رب العالمین کی حجّت ہیں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household,
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور ان کے اہل بیتؑ پر
الْاَئِمَّةِ الْهَادِيْنَ
the guiding Imams,
جو امام، ہادی،
الْعُلَمَاۤءِ الصَّادِقِيْنَ
the knowledgeable, the veracious,
علماء، صادقین
الْاَبْرَارِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ
the righteous, the pious,
ابرار اور متقی ہیں،
دَعَاۤئِمِ دِيْنِكَ
the supports of Your religion,
تیرے دین کے ستون،
وَ اَرْكَانِ تَوْحِيْدِكَ
the pillars of the belief in Your Oneness,
تیری توحید کے ارکان
وَ تَرَاجِمَةِ وَحْيِكَ
the interpreters of Your Revelation,
اور تیری وحی کے ترجمان ہیں۔
وَ حُجَجِكَ عَلٰى خَلْقِكَ
Your arguments on Your creatures,
مخلوقات پر تیری حجّت
وَ خُلَفَاۤئِكَ فِي اَرْضِكَ
and Your representatives in Your lands,
اور زمین پر تیرے خلفاء ہیں۔
الَّذِيْنَ اخْتَرْتَهُمْ لِنَفْسِكَ
whom You have chosen for Yourself,
انھیں تو نے اپنے لیے منتخب کیا ہے
وَ اصْطَفَيْتَهُمْ عَلٰى عِبَادِكَ
You have preferred over Your servants,
اور اپنے بندوں میں برگزیدہ قرار دیا ہے
وَ ارْتَضَيْتَهُمْ لِدِيْنِكَ
You have accepted (as directors) of Your religion,
اور اپنے دین کے لیے پسند کیا ہے
وَ خَصَصْتَهُمْ بِمَعْرِفَتِكَ
You have given Your knowledge exclusively,
اور اپنی معرفت کے لیے مخصوص کردیا ہے
وَ جَلَّلْتَهُمْ بِكَرَامَتِكَ
shaded with Your honoring,
اور اپنی کرامت سے عظیم تر بنادیا ہے
وَ غَشَّيْتَهُمْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ
covered with Your mercy,
اور اپنی دریائے رحمت میں غرق کردیا ہے۔
وَ رَبَّيْتَهُمْ بِنِعْمَتِكَ
raised with Your boon,
انھیں اپنی نعمت سے پالا ہے
وَ غَذَّيْتَهُمْ بِحِكْمَتِكَ
fed on Your wisdom,
اور اپنی حکمت کی غذا دی ہے،
وَ اَلْبَسْتَهُمْ نُورَكَ
dressed Your Light,
اپنے نور کا لباس پہنایا ہے
وَ رَفَعْتَهُمْ فِي مَلَكُوْتِكَ
lifted up to Your Sovereignty,
اور اپنے ملکوت میں بلند بنایا ہے۔
وَ حَفَفْتَهُمْ بِمَلَاۤئِكَتِكَ
encompassed with Your angels,
انھیں ملائکہ کے حلقہ میں رکھا ہے
وَ شَرَّفْتَهُمْ بِنَبِيِّكَ
and honored with Your Prophet,
اور اپنے نبیؐ کے ذریعہ شرافت و کرامت عطا فرمائی ہے۔
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِهِ
peace of You be upon him and his Household.
محمدؐ و اور ان کی آلؑ پر تیری رحمت پر
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ
O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad and upon them
خدایا حضرت محمدؐ اور ان کی آل پر رحمت نازل فرما۔
صَلَاةً زَاكِيَةً نَامِيَةً،
with blessings that are so pure, ever-growing,
وہ رحمت جو دائمی
كَثِيْرَةً دَاۤئِمَةً طَيِّبَةً
opulent, permanent, and good
اور طیب و طاہر ہو
لَا يُحِيْطُ بِهَا اِلَّا اَنْتَ
that none can comprehend save You,
اور جس کا احاطہ تیرے علاوہ کوئی دوسرا نہ کرسکتا ہو
وَ لَا يَسَعُهَا اِلَّا عِلْمُكَ
none can embrace save Your knowledge,
اور جس کا علم تیرے علاوہ کسی کے پاس نہیں ہے
وَ لَا يُحْصِيْهَا اَحَدٌ غَيْرُكَ
and none can count save You.
اور اس کا شمار بھی کسی کے لیے ممکن نہیں ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى وَلِيِّكَ
O Allah, and also send blessings to Your Friend
خدایا رحمت نازل فرما اپنے ولی پر
الْمُحْيِيْ سُنَّتَكَ
who will restore Your way,
جو تیری سنّت کا زندہ کرنے والا،
الْقَاۤئِمِ بِاَمْرِكَ
rise [to undertake the mission] by Your command,
تیرے امر کے ساتھ قیام کرنے والا،
الدَّاعِيْ اِلَيْكَ
call unto You,
تیری طرف دعوت دینے والا
الدَّلِيْلِ عَلَيْكَ
and guide to You.
اور تیرے دین کے لیے رہنما ہے۔
حُجَّتِكَ عَلٰى خَلْقِكَ
[He is] Your argument against Your creatures,
وہ مخلوقات پر تیری حجّت،
وَ خَلِيْفَتِكَ فِي اَرْضِكَ
Your representative in Your lands,
زمین میں تیرا خلیفہ
وَ شَاهِدِكَ عَلٰى عِبَادِكَ
and Your witness on Your servants.
اور بندوں کے درمیان تیرا گواہ ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعِزَّ نَصْرَهُ
O Allah, (please) confer upon him with a mighty help,
خدایا اسے باعزّت نصرت عطا فرما
وَ مُدَّ فِي عُمْرِهِ
extend his lifetime,
اور طول عمر عطا فرما
وَ زَيِّنِ الْاَرْضَ بِطُوْلِ بَقَاۤئِهِ
and adorn the earth with his long-lasting survival.
اور اس کے طول بقا سے زمین کو زینت عطا فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْفِهِ بَغْيَ الْحَاسِدِيْنَ
O Allah, (please) save him from the oppression of the enviers,
خدایا اسے حاسدوں کے ظلم
وَ اَعِذْهُ مِنْ شَرِّ الْكَاۤئِدِيْنَ
protect him against the evils of the plotters,
اور مکّاروں کے شر سے اپنی پناہ میں رکھنا۔
وَ ازْجُرْ عَنْهُ اِرَادَةَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ
deter the unjust from employing their wills against him,
ظالموں کے ارادوں کو رد کردینا
وَ خَلِّصْهُ مِنْ اَيْدِي الْجَبَّارِيْنَ،
and redeem him from the hands (i.e. powers) of the tyrants.
اور جابروں کے ہاتھوں سے اُسے محفوظ رکھنا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعْطِهِ فِي نَفْسِهِ وَ ذُرِّيَّتِهِ
O Allah, (please) grant him, concerning himself, his offspring,
خدایا اپنے ولی کو اس کی ذات، ذرّیت،
وَ شِيْعَتِهِ وَ رَعِيَّتِهِ
his partisans, his subjects,
اس کے شیعہ، اس کی رعایا،
وَ خَاصَّتِهِ وَ عَامَّتِهِ
his retinue, his publics,
اس کے خواص و عوام
وَ عَدُوِّهِ وَ جَمِيْعِ اَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا
[even] his enemies, and all the inhabitants of this world—
اور اس کے دشمنوں اور تمام اہل دنیا کے بارے میں
مَا تُقِرُّ بِهِ عَيْنَهُ
[give him] that which delights his eye
وہ عنایت فرما جو اس کی آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک ہو
وَ تَسُرُّ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ
and entertains his self;
اور جس سے اس کے دل کو سرور حاصل ہو۔
وَ بَلِّغْهُ اَفْضَلَ مَاۤ اَمَّلَهُ
and make him attain the best of that which he desires
اسے دنیا اور
فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْاٰخِرَةِ
in this world and the Next Word.
آخرت کی تمام بہتری عطا فرما کہ
اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
Verily, You have power over all things.
تو ہر شئے پر قادر ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ جَدِّدْ بِهِ مَا امْتَحٰى [مُحِيَ] مِنْ دِيْنِكَ
O Allah, renew, through him, the features of Your religion that have been eradicated,
خدایا جس قدر دین محو ہوگیا ہے اس کے ذریعہ اس کی تجدید فرما۔
وَ اَحْيِ بِهِ مَا بُدِّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ
revive, through him, the instructions of Your Books that have been altered,
کتاب کے احکام جو بدل گئے ہیں انھیں زندہ فرما
وَ اَظْهِرْ بِهِ مَا غُيِّرَ مِنْ حُكْمِكَ
and manifest, through him, the laws of Your code that have been distorted
اور جن احکام کو تبدیل کردیا گیا ہے انھیں ظاہر فرما دے
حَتّٰى يَعُوْدَ دِيْنُكَ بِهِ وَ عَلٰى يَدَيْهِ
so that Your religion, through him and at his hands, will again become
تا کہ اس کے ذریعہ اور اس کے ہاتھوں پر دین
غَضَّا جَدِيْدًا
fresh, new,
پھر تر و تازہ
خَالِصًا مُخْلِصًا
pure, sound,
اور خالص ہوکر سامنے آئے
لَا شَكَّ فِيْهِ وَ لَا شُبْهَةَ مَعَهُ
free from any doubt or any spurious matter,
جس میں نہ کوئی شک ہو نہ کوئی شبہ ہو
وَ لَا بَاطِلَ عِنْدَهُ وَ لَا بِدْعَةَ لَدَيْهِ
and lacking any accompanying wrong or heresy.
نہ کوئی حرفِ باطل ہو اور نہ کوئی بدعت ہو
اَللّٰهُمَّ نَوِّرْ بِنُوْرِهِ كُلَّ ظُلْمَةٍ
O Allah, through his light, light up all darkness,
خدایا اس کے نور سے ہر تاریکی کو روشن بنادے
وَ هُدَّ بِرُكْنِهِ كُلَّ بِدْعَةٍ
through his power, demolish all heresies,
ہر بدعت کو منہدم کردے،
وَ اهْدِمْ بِعِزِّهِ كُلَّ ضَلَالَةٍ
through his might, destroy all items of deviation,
اس کی عزّت سے ہر ضلالت کو ختم کردے
وَ اقْصِمْ بِهِ كُلَّ جَبَّارٍ
through him, annihilate all tyrants,
اس کے ذریعہ ہر جابر کی کمر توڑ دے
وَ اَخْمِدْ بِسَيْفِهِ كُلَّ نَارٍ
though his sword, extinguish all fires [of sedition],
اور اس کی تلوار سے ہر آگ کو خاموش کردے۔
وَ اَهْلِكْ بِعَدْلِهِ جَوْرَ كُلِّ جَاۤئِرٍ
through his justice, terminate the prejudice of all unjust ones,
اس کے عدل سے ہر ظالم کے ظلم کو فنا کردے
وَ اَجْرِ حُكْمَهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ حُكْمٍ
make his rule prevail on all systems of rule,
اور اس کے حکم کو ہر حکم پر نافذ کردے۔
وَ اَذِلَّ بِسُلْطَانِهِ كُلَّ سُلْطَانٍ۔
and through his authority, humiliate all other authorities.
اس کی حکومت کے لیے ہر سلطنت کو رام کردے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَذِلَّ كُلَّ مَنْ نَاوَاهُ
O Allah, (please) put down all those who antagonize him,
خدایا اس کے ہر مخالف کو ذلیل کردے
وَ اَهْلِكْ كُلَّ مَنْ عَادَاهُ
wipe out all those who incur the hostility of him,
اور ہر دشمن کو ہلاک کردے۔
وَ امْكُرْ بِمَنْ كَادَهُ
exterminate the plots of all those who conspire against him,
جو اس سے مکّاری کرے اس سے بدلہ لے لے
وَ اسْتَأْصِلْ مَنْ جَحَدَهُ حَقَّهُ
and obliterate all those who deny his right,
اور جو اس کے حق کا انکار کرے
وَ اسْتَهَانَ بِاَمْرِهِ
belittle his mission,
یا اس کے امر کی توہین کرے
وَ سَعٰى فِي اِطْفَاۤءِ نُوْرِهِ
work on extinguishing his light,
یا اس کے نور کو بجھانا چاہے
وَ اَرَادَ اِخْمَادَ ذِكْرِهِ
and intend to turn off his reputation.
یا اس کے ذکر کو خاموش کرنا چاہے اسے جڑ سے اُکھاڑ کر پھینک دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُصْطَفٰى
O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad, the Chosen Prophet,
خدایا حضرت محمد مصطفیٰؐ،
وَ عَلِيٍّ الْمُرْتَضٰى
Ali, the Well-pleased,
علی مرتضیٰؑ ،
وَ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاۤءِ
Fatimah, the Luminous,
فاطمہ زہراؑ،
وَ الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا
al-Hasan, the amicable,
حسن رضاؑ
وَ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمُصَفّٰى
al-Husayn, the purified,
اور حسینؑ منتخب
وَ جَمِيْعِ الْاَوْصِيَاۤءِ مَصَابِيْحِ الدُّجٰى
and all the Successors, the lanterns of darkness,
اور تمام اوصیاء پر رحمت نازل فرما جو اندھیروں کے چراغ،
وَ اَعْلَامِ الْهُدٰى
the signs of true guidance,
ہدایت کے پرچم،
وَ مَنَارِ التُّقٰى
the lamps of piety,
تقویٰ کے منارے،
وَ الْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقٰى
the firmest handle,
ریسمانِ ہدایت،
وَ الْحَبْلِ الْمَتِيْنِ
the resolved rope [between Allah and His creatures],
حبل المتین
وَ الصِّرَاطِ الْمُسْتَقِيْمِ
and the straight path.
اور صراط مستقیم ہیں۔
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى وَلِيِّكَ وَ وُلَاةِ عَهْدِكَ
And (please) send blessings to Your Friend and the trustees of Your affairs
خدایا اپنے والی اور اپنے امام، اولیاء عہد
وَ الْاَئِمَّةِ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ
and the Imams from his descendants,
اور ان ائمہ پر جو اس کی اولاد میں ہیں رحمت نازل فرما
وَ مُدَّ فِي اَعْمَارِهِمْ
extend their lifetimes,
انھیں طولِ حیات عطا فرما
وَ زِدْ فِي اٰجَالِهِمْ
increase their periods of life,
اور ان کی مدّت حیات میں اضافہ فرما
وَ بَلِّغْهُمْ اَقْصٰى اٰمَالِهِمْ
and make them attain the utmost of their expectations
اور انھیں تمام
دِيْنًا وَ دُنْيَا وَ اٰخِرَةً
in the religion, the world, and the Hereafter.
دینی، دنیوی اور اخروی مقاصد تک پہنچادے کہ
اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
Verily, You have power over all things.
تو ہر شئی پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے۔
According to some narrations, the Saturday nights are as sacred as Friday nights; therefore, it is recommendably required to say the same supplications of Friday night at Saturday nights.
