حرز بی بی فاطمہ (ع)
BRIEF SUPPLICATORY AND EVIL-REPELLING PRAYERS
This section comprises a number of brief supplicatory and evil-repelling prayers that I have selected from the two books entitled Muhaj al-Da’awat and al-Mujtana compiled by Sayyid Razi al-Din Ibn Tawus.
First: Imam Musa ibn Ja’far (‘a) is reported to have quoted the Holy Prophet (s) as instructing Imam ‘Ali (‘a) to say this supplicatory prayer whenever a hardship would bother him:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنّىْۤ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ کے حق کے ساتھ کہ
اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
تو رحمت نازل فرما محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر
وَ اَنْ تُنْجِيَنِىْ مِنْ هٰذَا الْغَمِّ
and to save me from this distress.
اور یہ کہ مجھے اس غم و اندوہ سے نجات عطا فرما۔
LADY FATIMAH’S EVIL-REPELLING PRAYER
Second: This evil-repelling prayer is ascribed to Lady Fatimah (‘a):
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
خدا کے نام سے جو بڑا رحم والا مہربان ہے
يَا حَىُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ
O He Who is Ever-living; O He Who is Self-subsisting,
اے زندہ اے پائندہ
بِرَحْمَتِكَ اَسْتَغِيْثُ فَاَغِثْنِىْ
in the name of Your mercy I pray for Your aid; so, (please) come to my aid,
تیری رحمت کے ذریعے فریاد کر رہا ہوں پس میری فریاد سن
وَلَا تَكِلْنِىْۤ اِلٰى نَفْسِىْ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ اَبَدًا
do not leave me with myself even for a winking of an eye,
اور مجھے پلک جھپکنے کے لئے بھی کبھی میرے نفس کے حوالے نہ کرنا
وَ اَصْلِحْ لِىْ شَاْنِىْ كُلَّهُ
and set aright my entire affair.
اور تمام حالات میں بہتری پیدا کر دے۔
