دنیا وآخرت کی حاجات کے لئے چند مختصر دعائیں۔
Although they are numerous, I will mention only thirty supplicatory prayers for this-worldly and otherworldly requests:
First: Imam al-Sadiq (‘a) is reported to have advised of saying this supplicatory prayer:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِىْۤ اَخْشَاكَ كَاَنِّىْۤ اَرَاكَ
O Allah, (please) make me fear You as if I can see You.
پروردگار مجھے ایسا بنا دے کہ تجھ سے اس طرح ڈروں جیسا تجھے دیکھ رہا ہوں،
وَ اَسْعِدْنِىْ بِتَقْوٰيكَ
Make me happy to act piously towards You.
اپنے تقویٰ سے میری امداد فرما۔
وَلَاتُشْقِنِىْ بِنَشْطِىْ لِمَعَاصِيْكَ
Do not distress me by granting me activity to commit acts of disobedience to You.
مجھے مصیبتوں میں مبتلا نہ ہونے دینا۔
وَ خِرْلِىْ فِىْ قَضَاۤئِكَ
Choose for me through Your decree.
اپنے قضا و قدر میں میرے لئے بہترین
وَ بَارِكْ لِىْ فِىْ قَدَرِكَ
Bless me through Your determination
اور بابرکت فیصلہ کرنا
حَتّٰى لَا اُحِبَّ تَاْخِيْرَمَا عَجَّلْتَ
so that I will not long for delaying that which You would hasten
تا کہ جسے تو جلدی قرار دے میں اس کی تاخیر نہ چاہوں
وَلَاتَعْجِيْلَ مَاۤ اَخَّرْتَ
or hastening that which You have delayed.
اور جس میں تاخیر کرنے اس کی جلدی نہ چاہوں ۔
وَاجْعَلْ غِنَاىَ فِىْ نَفْسِىْ
And (please) make my richness in my conscience
خدایا میری بے نیازی کو میرے نفس میں قرار دے
وَ مَتِّعْنِىْ بِسَمْعِىْ وَ بَصَرِىْ
and make me find enjoyment in my hearing and sight.
میرے سماعت بصارت میں قوت عطا فرما
وَ اجْعَلْهُمَا الْوَارِثَيْنِ مِنِّىْ
Make them sound until I am inherited.
اور انھیں کو میرا وارث قرار دے دے
وَانْصُرْنِىْ عَلٰى مَنْ ظَلَمَنِىْ
Grant me victory over him who wrongs me,
ظالموں کے مقابلے میں میری مدد فرما
وَاَرِنِىْ فِيْهِ قُدْرَتَكَ يَا رَبِّ
make me see signs of Your power in him, O my Lord,
اور اپنی قدرت کا مظاہرہ عطا فرما
وَ اَقِرَّ بِذٰلِكَ عَيْنِىْ
and make Your favors to be the delight of my eye.
کہ میری خشکی چشم کا سہارا بنے۔
Second: Imam al-Sadiq (‘a) is also reported to have advised of saying this supplicatory prayer:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعِنِّىْ عَلٰى هَوْلِ يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ
O Allah, (please) help me encounter the horror of the Resurrection Day,
خدایا! روز قیامت کے ہول کے مقابلے میں میری مدد فرمانا،
وَاَخْرِجْنِىْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا سَالِمًا
take me out of this world soundly,
مجھے دنیا سے صحیح و سالم اٹھانا ،
وَ زَوِّجْنِىْ مِنَ الْحُوْرِ الْعِيْنِ
give me in marriage the Paradisiacal women,
حورعین سے میرا رشتہ کر دینا ۔
وَاكْفِنِىْ مَؤُنَتِىْ وَ مَؤُنَةَ عِيَالِىْ
save me from procuring the provisions of myself, my family members,
زحمت کے لیے کافی ہوجانا میرے اور میرے خیال کی
وَ مَؤُنَةَ النَّاسِ
and people,
اور تمام لوگوں کی
وَاَدْخِلْنِىْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِىْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ۔
and include me, in the name of Your mercy, with Your righteous servants.
مجھے اپنی رحمت کے سہارے اپنے نیک بندوں میں شامل کر لینا۔
