دانتوں کے درد کا تعویذ
Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) is reported to have said: As for those who suffer from toothache, they may put their hands on the ached organ and recite Surah al-Faatehah, Surah al-Tawheed, Surah al-Qadr, and the following holy verse:
وَ تَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً
And you see the mountains, you think them to be solid,
اور تم دیکھو گے تو سمجھو گے کہ جیسے پہاڑ اپنی جگہ پر جامد ہیں
وَ هِىَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ
and they shall pass away as the passing away of the cloud—
حالانکہ یہ بادلوں کی طرح چل رہے ہوں گے
صُنْعَ اللّٰهِ الَّذِىْ اَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْئٍ
the handiwork of Allah Who has made every thing thoroughly.
یہ اس خدا کی صنعت ہے جس نے ہر چیز کو محکم بنایا ہے
اِنَّهُ خَبِيْرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُوْنَ۔
Surely, He is Aware of what you do.
اور وہ تمہارے تمام اعمال سے باخبر ہے
Likewise, Imam Ali(a.s.) is reported to have said: You may rub the place of your prostration (in ritual prayers) with your hand, rub the ached tooth with it, and say the following:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ
In the Name of Allah.
خدا کے نام کے ساتھ
وَالشَّافِىْ اَللهُ
The (true) Healer is Allah.
اور اللہ شفا دینے والا ہے
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ
There is neither might nor power save with Allah,
اور نہیں کوئی طاقت و قوّت
الْعَلِىِّ الْعَظِيْمِ۔
the Most High and All-great،
مگر جو بلند و بزرگ خدا سے ہے۔
ANOTHER SUPPLICATORY AMULET AGAINST TOOTHACHE
You may recite Surah al-Faatehah and Surah al-Tawheed. With each Surah, you may recite:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ۔
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
خدا کے نام سے جو بڑا رحم کرنے والا مہربان ہے
After Surah al-Tawheed, you may recite the following holy verses:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
خدا کے نام سے جو بڑا رحم کرنے والا مہربان ہے
وَ لَهُ مَا سَكَنَ فِى اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ
And to Him belongs whatever dwells in the night and the day
اللہ ہی کے لیے شب و روز ساکن ہے۔
وَ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ
and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
وہ خدائے سمیع و علیم ہے۔
قُلْنَا يَا نَارُ كُوْنِىْ بَرْدًا
We said: O fire! Be a comfort and peace to Abraham.
اس کا حکم ہے اے آگ سرد ہوجا
وَ سَلَامًا عَلٰى اِبْرَاهِيْمَ
They desired a war on him but We made them the greatest losers.
اور ابراہیمؑ کے لیے سلامتی بن جا۔
وَ اَرَادُوْا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْاَخْسَرِيْنَ
Blessed is Whoever is in the fire and whatever is about it
لوگوں نے ان کے لیے مکر کرنا چاہا اللہ نے ان کو خسارہ والا بنادیا
نُوْدِىَ اَنْ بُوْرِكَ مَنْ فِى النَّارِ وَ مَنْ حَوْلَهَا
and glory be to Allah,
اور آواز دی کہ برکت اسی کے لیے جو اس آگ کے اطراف میں ہے۔
وَ سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔
the Lord of the worlds.
پاک و بے نیاز ہے وہ خدا جو رب العالمین ہے۔
You may then say the following supplicatory prayer:
اَللّٰهُمَّ يَا كَافِيًا مِّنْ كُلِّ شَيْئٍ
O Allah, O He Who saves from all things
اے ہر شئی کے کفایت کرنے والے
وَ لَا يَكْفِىْ مِنْكَ شَيْئٌ
while nothing can save from You,
اور اس کے مقابلے میں کوئی چیز باقی نہیں ہے۔
اِكْفِ عَبْدَكَ وَابْنَ اَمَتِكَ
(please) save Your servant and the son of Your she-servant
اپنے بندے اپنی کنیز کے فرزند کے لیے کافی ہوجا
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا يُخَافُ وَ يُحْذَرُ
from the evil of what he fears and anticipates
ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جس کا خوف اس کے دل میں ہے
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَجَعِ الَّذِىْ يَشْكُوْهُ اِلَيْكَ۔
and from the evil of the ache about which he is complaining to You
اور ہر اس درد سے جس کی فریاد لے کر تیری بارگاہ میں حاضر ہوا ہے۔
It is also reported that one who suffers from toothache may take a blade or a leaf of a date-palm tree, rub the ached place with it, and repeat the following statement seven times:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
خدا کے نام سے جو بڑا رحم کرنے والا مہربان ہے
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَ بِاللّٰهِ
In the Name of Allah (I begin) and in Allah (I trust).
اللہ کے نام سے اللہ کے سہارے سے۔
مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah
محمدؐ اللہ کے رسول ہیں
وَ اِبْرَاهِيْمُ خَلِيْلُ اللّٰهِ
and Abraham is the friend of Allah.
ابراہیمؑ خلیل ہیں۔
اُسْكُنْ بِالَّذِىْ سَكَنَ لَهُ مَا فِى اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ بِاۤءِذْنِهِ
Calm down in the name of the One to Whom whatsoever is in the night and day rests by His permission
اے درد ٹھہر جا اس کے نام پر جس کے لیے شب و روز ٹھہرے ہوئے ہیں
وَ هُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْئٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
and He has power over all things.
اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔
It is also reported that one who suffers from toothache may put a stick or a piece of iron on the tooth and use this supplicatory amulet from the side of the tooth by repeating it seven times:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
خدا کے نام سے جو بڑا رحم کرنے والا مہربان ہے
اَلْعَجَبُ كُلُّ الْعَجَبِ
How wonderful! It is the wonder of wonders
عجب اور مکمل عجب
دُوْدَةٌ تَكُوْنُ فِى الْفَمِ
that a worm in the mouth
ایک کیڑا دہن کے اندر پیدا ہوجائے
تَاْكُلُ الْعَظْمَ
eats the bone
جو ہڈّی کھا جائے،
وَ تُنْزِلُ الدَّمَ
and causes blood to come out.
خون بہادے
اَنَا الرَّاقِىْ
I use this amulet
جب کہ
وَ اللّٰهُ الشَّافِىْ وَ الْكَافِىْ
but Allah is the healer and the savior.
خدائے کافی و شافی موجود ہے
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ
There is no god save Allah.
جس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں۔
وَالْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
ساری حمد اسی کے لیے ہے جو عالمین کا پروردگار ہے
وَ اِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسًا فَادَّارَ اْتُمْ فِيْهَا
“And when you killed a man, then you disagreed with respect to that,
اور جب بنی اسرائیل نے کسی کو بے گناہ قتل کیا
وَاللهُ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا كُنْتُمْ تَكْتُمُوْنَ۔
and Allah was to bring forth that which you were going to hide.
تو پروردگار عالم نے اس کے راز کو فاش کردیا۔
فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبُوْهُ بِبَعْضِهَا
So, We said: Strike the dead body with part of the sacrificed cow.
تو ہم نے کہا کہ مقتول کو گائے کے ٹکڑے سے مس کردو
كَذَالِكَ يُحْيِيْ اللهُ الْمَوْتَيٰ
Thus Allah brings the dead to life
خدا اسی طرح مردوں کو زندہ کرتا ہے
وَيُرِيْكُمْ اٰيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ۔
and He shows you His signs so that you may understand.”
اور تمہیں اپنی نشانیاں دکھلاتا ہے کہ شاید تمہیں عقل آجائے
The previous method may be repeated seven times.
