ANOTHER NAMAZ FOR SETTLING THE NEEDS (3)
Sayyid ibn Tawus, in his book of al-Mazar, Chapter: Rites of al-Kufah Mosque, after mentioning the recommended acts at Imam Ali’s Niche (mihrab), has mentioned a special prayer for settling the needs to be offered there. This prayer consists of four units, each two alone; i.e. the Taslim statement is uttered after each two units. In the first unit, Surah al-Faatehah is recited once and Surah al-Tawheed is repeated ten times. In the second unit, Surah al-Faatehah is recited once and Surah al-Tawheed is repeated twenty-one times. In the third unit, Surah al-Faatehah is recited once and Surah al-Tawheed is repeated thirty-one times. In the fourth unit, Surah al-Faatehah is recited once and Surah al-Tawheed is repeated forty-one times. Upon uttering the Taslim statement and saying the glorification statements, you may do the following:
(1) Recite Surah al-Tawheed fifty-one times,
(2) utter the imploration for forgiveness (i.e. istighfar) fifty times:
اَسْتَغْفِرُاللهَ۔
I pray Allah for forgiveness.
میں خدا سے معافی چاہتا ہوں
(3) invoke blessings upon the Holy Prophet and his Household (i.e. Salawat) fifty times:
(4) repeat the following statement fifty times:
لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِىِّ الْعَظِيْمِ۔
There is neither might nor power except with Allah.
نہیں کوئی طاقت و قوّت مگر جو بلند و بزرگ خدا سے ہے
and (5) say the following supplication:
يَا اَللهُ الْمَانِعُ قُدْرَتَهُ خَلْقَهُ
O Allah Who stops His power (to punish) from His creatures,
اے وہ خدا جو اپنی قدرت کے ذریعے بندوں کے نقصان کو روکتا ہے
وَالْمَالِكُ بِهَا سُلْطَانَهُ
Who possesses His authority through it,
اور دنیا کی سلطنت کا مالک ہے۔
وَالْمُتَسَلِّطُ بِمَافِىْ يَدَيْهِ عَلٰى كُلِّ مَوْجُوْدٍ
and Who has full power over all existent beings through what He possesses!
ہر موجود پر اسی کا غلبہ ہے
وَ غَيْرُكَ يَخِيْبُ رَجَاۤءُ رَاجِيْهِ
While all others disappoint those who put hope in them,
تیرے علاوہ کسی سے بھی امید کو چاہے تو سوائے نا امیدی کے کچھ نہیں ہے۔
وَ رَاجِيْكَ مَسْرُوْرٌ لَايَخِيْبُ
he who puts hope in You is pleased and never disappointed.
فقط تیرا امیدوار خوش رہتا ہے اور مایوس نہیں ہوتا ہے
اَسْئَلُكَ بِكُلِّ رِضىً لَكَ
I beseech You in the name of all items that please You,
تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیری ہر رضا کا
وَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ اَنْتَ فِيْهِ
all things in which You are present,
اور ہر اس چیز کا جس میں تیرا جلوہ ہو،
وَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ تُحِبُّ اَنْ تُذْكَرَ بِهِ
all things in which You like to be mentioned,
ہر اس چیز کا جو تیری یاد دلائے اور تیرے سہارے سے
وَ بِكَ يَا اَللهُ
and in Your Name, O Allah
اے خدا
فَلَيْسَ يَعْدِلُكَ شَىْءٌ
for there is nothing to be equal to You,
میں جانتا ہوں کہ تیرے جیسا کوئی نہیں ہے۔
اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
(please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
میرا سوال یہ ہے کہ محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما۔
وَّ تَحْفَظَنِىْ وَ وَلَدِىْ وَ اَهْلِىْ وَ مَالِىْ
safeguard me, my sons, my wife, and my possessions,
مجھے، میری اولاد کو، میرے اہل کو، میرے مال کو
وَ تَحْفَظَنِىْ بِحِفْظِكَ
safeguard me with Your safeguarding,
محفوظ فرما
وَ اَنْ تَقْضِىَ حَاجَتِىْ فِىْ كَذَا وَ كَذَا۔
and settle my need, which is...
اور میری حاجتوں کو پورا فرما۔
