رقعہ حاجت
In the fourth chapter of this book, I will mention a number of supplicatory prayers for settling the worldly and religious needs.
In al-Balad al-Amin, al-Kaf’ami states: For urgent needs, the following words may be written on a sheet of paper and then thrown in (current) water:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
خدا کے نام سے جو بڑا رحم کرنے والا مہربان ہے
مِنَ الْعَبْدِ الذَّلِيْلِ
From the submissive servant
یہ خط ایک بندۂ ذلیل کا
اِلَى الْمَوْلىَ الْجَلِيْلِ
to the All-majestic Lord.
مولائے جلیل کے نام ہے۔
رَبِّ اِنِّىْ مَسَّنِىَ الضُّرُّ
O Lord: Harm has afflicted me, and You are the most Merciful of the merciful.
خدایا مصیبتوں نے مجھ کو چھولیا ہے
وَ اَنْتَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
In the name of Muhammad and his Household,
اور تو سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِهٖ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِهٖ
(please) bless Muhammad and his Household,
محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ کے واسطے سے ان پر رحمت نازل فرما،
وَاكْشِفْ هَمِّىْ وَ فَرِّجْ عَنِّىْ غَمِّىْ
take off my distress and relieve me from my grief,
میرے ہم و غم کو دور فرما
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَاۤ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
out of Your mercy, O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
اپنی رحمت کے وسیلے سے کہ تو سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
