تیسری ساعت کی دعا
اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِىْ كَذَا وَ كَذَا۔۔
(please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and...
تو رحمت فرما سرکار محمدؐ و آلؑ محمدؐپر اور میری یہ اور یہ حاجت پوری فرما
The third hour, which is from disappearance of the ray of the sun to the rising of the daylight, is dedicated to Imam al-Husayn ibn Ali(a.s.). The following is the supplication at this hour:
يَا مَنْ تَجَبَّرَ فَلَا عَيْنٌ تَرَاهُ
O He Who is too Omnipotent to be seen by any eye!
اے خدائے صاحبِ جبروت تجھے کوئی آنکھ دیکھ نہیں سکتی۔
يَا مَنْ تَعَظَّمَ فَلَا تَخْطُرُ الْقُلُوْبُ بِكُنْهِهِ
O He Who is so Great that hearts cannot even imagine His quiddity!
تو اتنا عظیم ہے کہ اس کی حقیقت کا تصوّر بھی نہیں ہوسکتا۔
يَا حَسَنَ الْمَنِّ
O most Excellent in favoring!
اے بہترین احسان کرنے والا
يَا حَسَنَ التَّجَاوُزِ
O most Excellent in condonation!
اے بہترین درگذر کرنے والا،
يَا حَسَنَ الْعَفْوِ
O most Excellent in pardoning!
اے بہترین معاف کرنے والا،
يَا جَوَادُ يَا كَرِيْمُ
O All-magnanimous! O All-generous!
اے بہترین جواد و کریم،
يَا مَنْ لَا يُشْبِهُهُ شَىْءٌ مِّنْ خَلْقِهِ
O He none of Whose creatures is like Him!
اے وہ جس کی شبیہ دنیا کی کوئی شئی نہیں۔
يَا مَنْ مَنَّ عَلٰى خَلْقِهِ بِاَوْلِيَاۤئِهِ
O He Who has conferred a benefit upon His creatures through His Vicegerents
اے وہ خدا جس نے اپنی مخلوقات پر اپنے اولیاء کے ذریعہ احسان کیا
اِذِارْتَضَيْهُمْ لِدِيْنِهِ
whom He has accepted for His religion,
جس میں دین کے لیے منتخب لیا،
وَ اَدَّبَ بِهِمْ عِبَادَهُ
through whom He has disciplined His servants,
ان کے ذریعہ بندوں کی تادیب کی
وَ جَعَلَهُمْ حُجَجًا مَّنًّا مِّنْهُ عَلٰى خَلْقِهِ
and whom He has made arguments against His creatures, out of His favor!
اور انھیں اپنی حجّت قرار دیا۔
اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
beseech You in the name of al-Husayn the son of 'Ali,
میں حسینؑ بن علیؑ کے واسطے سے
عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ
peace be upon both of them,
درود و سلام ہو ان پر
السِّبْطِ التَّابِعِ لِمَرْضَاتِكَ
the grandson who is subservient to Your pleasure,
جو تیری مرضی کے تابع
وَ النَّاصِحِ فِىْ دِيْنِكَ
sincere in Your religion,
اور تیرے دین کے لیے نافع
وَالدَّلِيْلِ عَلٰى ذَاتِكَ
and the signpost on Your Essence;
اور تیری ذات کے لیے دلیل ہیں
You may now mention your needs.
اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّهِ
I thus beseech You in the name of him
ان کے واسطے سے اور ان کے حق کے واسطے سے سوال کرتا ہوں
وَ اُقَدِّمُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حَوَاۤئِجِىْ
and I present him as my mediation for the settling of my needs,
اور اپنی حاجتوں میں انھیں مقدّم کرتا ہوں کہ
