پہلی ساعت کی دعا
The first hour of the day, which is the space of time between dawn (fajr) and sunrise, is dedicated to Imam AliAmeer al-Momineen(a.s.). The supplication at this hour is as follows:
اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ الْبَهَاۤءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ
O Allah, O Lord of brilliance, greatness,
پروردگار اے عظمت
وَالْكِبْرِيَاۤءِ وَالسُّلْطَانِ
grandeur, and authority!
و کبریائی اور سلطان کے مالک
اَظْهَرْتَ الْقُدْرَةَ كَيْفَ شِئْتَ
You have demonstrated the power as You wished,
تو نے اپنی قدرت کو جس طرح چاہا ظاہر کیا
وَ مَنَنْتَ عَلٰى عِبَادِكَ بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ
bestowed upon Your servants with Your forgiveness,
اپنے بندوں پر اپنی معرفت اور مغفرت سے مہربانی کی،
وَ تَسَلَّطْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِجَبَرُوْتِكَ
dominated over them with Your supremacy,
اپنی طاقت سے ان پر غالب آیا
وَ عَلَّمْتَهُمْ شُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ
and taught them how to thank Your graces.
انھیں شکر و نعمت کی تعلیم دی۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَبِحَقِّ عَلِيٍّ الْمُرْتَضٰى لِلدِّيْنِ
O Allah, in the name of 'Ali, the well-pleased for the religion,
خدایا علیؑ مرتضیٰ کے حق کا واسطہ جو تیرے دین کے محافظ
وَالْعَالِمِ بِالْحُكْمِ وَ مَجَارِىْ التُّقٰى
the well-versed with the judgment and the streams of piety,
اور تیرے حکم کے جاننے والے ہیں،
اِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ
and the leader of the pious,
امام المتقینؑ ہیں۔
صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِهٖ فِى الْاَوَّلِيْنَ وَالْاٰ خِرِيْنَ
(please) send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household among the past and the coming generations,
خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما اوّلین و آخرین میں رحمت نازل فرما
وَ اُقَدِّمُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حَوَاۤئِجِىْ
and I present him (i.e. ١Ali) as my mediation for the settling of my needs,
میں اگرچہ علی مرتضیٰؑ کو اپنی حاجتوں کے سامنے پیش کررہا ہوں۔
You may now mention your needs.
اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بى كَذا وَ كَذا۔۔
[I beseech You] to send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and...
تو رحمت فرما سرکار محمدؐ و آلؑ محمدؐپر اور میری یہ اور یہ حاجت پوری فرما
