آداب نماز
When you intend to perform the prayer, you may say the following:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنّى اُقَدِّمُ اِلَيْكَ مُحَمَّدًا
O Allah, I submit Muhammad,
خدایا میں تیری بارگاہ میں پیغمبر اکرمؐ
صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاۤلِهٖ
may Allah bless him and his Household,
درود و سلام ہو ان پر اور ان کی آل پر
بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حَاجَتِىْ
to You before mentioning my needs,
کو اپنی حاجتوں سے پہلے پیش کررہا ہوں
وَاَتَوَجَّهُ بِهٖ اِلَيْكَ
and I turn to You in his name;
اور انھیں کے ذریعہ تیری بارگاہ میں حاضر ہورہا ہوں۔
فَاجْعَلْنِىْ بِهِ وَجِيْهًا عِنْدَكَ
so, (please) make me of high regard with You
مجھے اپنے نزدیک
فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْاۤخِرَةِ
in this world and the Hereafter,
دنیا و آخرت میں وجیہ بنا دے
وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَ
and of those drawn near to You,
اور اپنے مقرّب بندوں میں قرار دے دے۔
وَاجْعَلْ صَلَاتِىْ بِهِ مَقْبُوْلَةً
and (please) decide, in his name, my prayer to be admitted,\
پیغمبر کے طفیل میں میری نماز کو مقبول،
وَذَنْبِىْ بِهِ مَغْفُوْرًا
my sin to be forgiven,
میرے گناہوں کو مغفور
وَدُعَاۤئِىْ بِهِ مُسْتَجَابًا
and my supplication to be responded.
اور میری دعاؤں کو مستجاب بنا دے
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ۔
You are verily the All-forgiving, the All-merciful.
کہ تو بہترین بخشنے والا اور رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
You may then utter the call to prayer (i.e. adhan) and say the prefatory part of prayer (i.e. iqamah). You may separate the two with a prostration or a sitting position, saying the following:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ قَلْبِى بَآرًّا
O Allah, (please) make my heart dutiful,
خدایا میرے دل کو نیک،
وَعَيْشِىْ قَآرًّا
my livelihood delightful,
میری زندگی کو مطمئن
وَرِزْقِىْ دَآرًّا
my sustenance profuse,
میرے رزق کو مسلسل قرار دے دے
وَاجْعَلْ لِىْ عِنْدَ قَبْرِ رَسُوْلِكَ
and make for me at the tomb of Your Messenger,
اور میرے واسطے قبر پیغمبرؐ
صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاۤلِهٖ
may Allah bless him and his Household,
درود و سلام ہو ان پر اور ان کی آل پر
مُسْتَقَرًّا وَقَرَارًا۔
an abode and a dwelling.
کے پاس دائمی مستقر قرار دے دے۔
You may now pray Almighty Allah for any thing you wish and beseech Him to grant you whatever you need, because any supplication that is said between the adhan and Iqamah will not be rejected.
After uttering the Iqamah, you may say the following:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِلَيْكَ تَوَجَّهْتُ
O Allah, to You have I turned my face,
خدایا میں تیری طرف متوجہ ہوں،
وَمَرَضَاتَكَ طَلَبْتُ
Your pleasure have I sought,
تیری رضا چاہتا ہوں،
وَثَوَابَكَ ابْتَغَيْتُ
for Your reward have I desired,
تیرے ثواب کا خواہشمند ہوں،
وَبِكَ اٰمَنْتُ
in You do I believe,
تجھ پر ایمان لایا ہوں
وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ
and on You do I rely.
اور تجھی پر بھروسہ کیا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاۤلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما۔
وَافْتَحْ مَسَامِعَ قَلْبِىْ لِذِكْرِكَ
open the ears of my hearts to remembering You,
اپنی یاد کے لیے میرے دل کے کانوں کو کھول دے۔
وَثَبِّتْنِىْ عَلٰى دِيْنِكَ وَ دِيْنِ نَبِيِّكَ
make me stand firmly on the religion of You and Your Prophet,
اپنے اور اپنے پیغمبرؐ کے دین پر ثابت قدم فرما
وَلَا تُزِغْ قَلْبِىْ بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنِىْ
make not my hearts to deviate after You have guided me aright,
اور خبردار ہدایت کے بعد میرے دل میں کجی نہ پیدا ہونے پائے۔
وَهَبْ لِىْ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً
and grant me from You mercy.
مجھے اپنی بارگاہ سے رحمت عنایت فرما
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ۔
Surely, You are the most liberal Giver.
کہ تو بہترین عطا کرنے والا ہے۔
