اعمال مابین طلوعین
Shaykh al-Tusi, in Misbah al-Mutahajjid, has mention the following supplicatory prayer to be said at the crack of dawn (fajr):
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ صَاحِبُنَا
O Allah, You are verily our Patron;
خدایا تو ہی ہمارا ساتھی ہے۔
فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِهٖ
so, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household
لہٰذا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما
وَاَفْضِلْ عَلَيْنَا
and bestow upon us with Your favors.
اور ہم پر اپنا فضل وکرم فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ بِنِعْمَتِكَ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ
O Allah, through Your graces only are the righteous things perfected;
خدایا تیری ہی نعمت سے نیکیوں کی تکمیل ہوتی ہے
فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِهٖ
so, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household
لہٰذا محمدؐ آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما
وَاَتْمِمْهَا عَلَيْنَا
and make them perfect for us.
اور ان نیکیوں کو ہمارے لیے تمام کردے ۔
عاۤئِذًا بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ النَّارِ
I seek Allah’s protection against Hellfire.
ہم جہنّم سے خدا کی پناہ چاہتے ہیں
عَاۤئِذًا بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ النَّارِ
I seek Allah’s protection against Hellfire.
جہنّم سے خدا کی پناہ چاہتے ہیں
عَاۤئِذًا بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ النَّارِ۔
I seek Allah’s protection against Hellfire.
جہنّم سے خدا کی پناہ چاہتے ہیں۔
The following supplicatory prayer may be said thereafter:
يَا فَالِقَهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَاۤ اَرَىٰ
O He Who cleaves it from where I cannot see
اے صبح کی ایجاد کرنے والے وہاں سے جسے ہم نے نہیں دیکھا
وَمُخْرِجَهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ اَرَىٰ
and causes it to come out from where I can see;
اور اس طرح سامنے لانے والے جیسے ہم دیکھ رہے ہوں ۔
صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِهٖ
(please) send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household,
محمد و آل محمد پر رحمت نازل فرما
وَاجْعَلْ اَوَّلَ يَوْمِنَا هٰذَا صَلَاحًا
and make the beginning of this day of mine righteousness,
ہماری آج کے دن کا آغاز صلاح
وَاَوْسَطَهُ فَلَاحًا
its middle prosperity,
اور درمیانی حصّہ فلاح
وَاٰخِرَهُ نَجَاحًا۔
and its end success.
اور آخری حصّہ کامیابی قرار دے دے
The following supplicatory prayer may be repeated ten times after that:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّى اُشْهِدُكَ
O Allah, I call You to witness for me
خدایا ہم تجھے گواہ قرار دیتے ہیں کہ
اَنَّهُ مَاۤ اَصْبَحَ بِىْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ
that whatever bliss I may enjoy in this morning
اس صبح ہمارے پاس جو نعمت
اَوْ عَافِيَةٍ فِىْ دِيْنٍ اَوْ دُنْيَا
and whatever wellbeing in a religious or worldly affair,
یا دین و دنیا کی عافیت ہے
فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ
then all of them are from You alone, without having any partner with You.
وہ سب تیرے ہی کرم سے ہے۔ تو خدائے وحدۂ لا شریک ہے۔
لَكَ الْحَمْدُ
All praise be to You
تیرے لیے حمد ،
وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ بِهَا عَلَىَّ
and all thanks be to You for that bliss given to me
تیرے لیے شکر ہے۔
حَتّٰى تَرْضٰی وَبَعْدَ الرِّضَا۔
until You please and beyond Your pleasure.
یہاں تک کہ تو راضی ہوجائے۔
Except for these supplicatory prayers, numerous supplicatory prayers have been reported to be said at this hour. However, the most favorable of these are the following statements that have been expressed in a tradition as al-Baqiyat al-salihat (The ever-abiding, good deeds):
سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ
All glory be to Allah,
پاک ہے خدا
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
all praise be to Allah,
اور ساری حمد خدا کے لیے ہے۔
وَلَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ
there is no god save Allah,
اور اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے
وَاللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ۔
and Allah is the Greatest.
اور اللہ بڑا ہے۔
It is also recommended to say the following:
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ
There is no god save Allah,
اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے
وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ
alone without having any partner.
صرف وہی خدائے وحدۂ لا شریک ہے۔
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ
To him is the kingdom and to Him is all praise.
اسی کے لیے ملک اور اسی کے لیے حمد ہے۔
يُحْيِىْ وَيُمِيْتُ وَيُمِيْتُ وَيُحْيِىْ
He gives life and causes to die and causes to die and gives life
وہی زندگی اور موت دینے والا ہے۔ وہی موت کے بعد زندگی دینے والا ہے۔
وَهُوَ حَىُّ لَا يَمُوْتُ
while He is Ever-living and He never dies.
وہ ہمیشہ زندہ ہے۔ اس کے لیے موت نہیں ہے۔
بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ
In His hand is the good
ساری نیکیاں اسی کے ہاتھ میں ہیں
وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
and He has power over all things.
اور وہ ہر شئے پر قادر ہے۔
Once you hear the call to the dawn (fajr) Prayer (i.e. adhan), you may say the following:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّى اَسْئَلُكَ بِاِقْبَالِ نَهَارِكَ
O Allah, I beseech You in the name of the advent of Your daylight,
خدایا میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں دن کے آتے وقت
وَاِدْبَارِ لَيْلِكَ
the departure of Your night,
اور رات کے جاتے وقت ۔
وَحُضُوْرِ صَلَوَاتِكَ
the approaching of the time of praying to You,
نمازوں کے اوقات میں ،
وَاَصْوَاتِ دُعاۤئِكَ
the sounds that supplicate You,
دعاؤں کے اوقات میں
وَتَسْبِيْحِ مَلَاۤئِكَتِكَ
and the glorifications of Your angels,
اور ملائکہ سے تسبیح کے اوقات میں
اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
to (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
تو محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما
وَاَنْ تَتُوْبَ عَلَىَّ
and to accept my repentance.
اور ہماری توبہ کو قبول فرما کہ
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ۔
Verily, You are the Oft-Returning, the Most Merciful.
تو توبہ قبول کرنے والا اور رحم کرنے والا ہے ۔
