فضیلت دعائے مکنون
Seventeenth: Al-Tusi, Ibn Baabwayh, and others have reported through valid chains of authority that Imam AliAmeer al-Momineen(a.s.) said, “Whoever wishes that he leaves this worldly life as pure of sins as untainted gold and none will demand him to be sued for a wrongdoing, must recite twelve times after each of the five obligatory prayers the Chapter that describes Almighty Allah; namely, Surah al-Tawheed. He may then stretch his hand and pray Almighty Allah with this supplicatory prayer, which is one of the redeeming matters that Allah’s Messenger (s.a.w.a.) taught and ordered me to convey to al-Hasan and al-Husayn (a.s.):
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنّى اَسْئَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْمَكْنُوْنِ الْمَخْزُوْنِ
O Allah, I beseech You by Your Name: the well-guarded, the stored,
خدایا میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے اس پوشیدہ نام کے سہارے جو خزانۂ قدرت میں ہے،
الطَّاهِرِ الطُّهْرِ الْمُبَارَكِ
The pure, the immaculate, and the blessed;
پاک و پاکیزہ ہے، بابرکت ہے۔
وَاَسْئَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيْمِ
and I beseech You by Your Great Name
میرا سوال تیرے عظیم نام،
وَسُلْطَانِكَ الْقَدِيْمِ
and by Your eternal power!
تیری قدیم سلطنت کے سہارے ہے
يَا وَاهِبَ الْعَطَايَا
O Donor of gifts!
اے عاصیوں کو عطا کرنے والے،
يَا مُطْلِقَ الْاُسَارٰى
O Releaser of captives!
قیدیوں کو آزاد کرنے والے،
يَا فَكَّاكَ الرِّقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ
O Deliverer of slaves from the Fire!
آتشِ جہنّم سے رہائی عطا کرنے والے
صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
(Please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما۔
وَفُكَّ رَقَبَتِىْ مِنَ النّارِ
set my neck free from the Fire,
ہماری گردن کو آتشِ جہنّم سے آزاد کردے۔
وَاَخْرِجْنِىْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا سَالِمَا
make me leave this world free from liabilities,
ہمیں دنیا سے امن و امان کے ساتھ اٹھانا
وَاَدْخِلْنِى الْجَنَّةَ اٰمِنَا
allow me to enter Paradise with security,
اور جنّت میں صحت و سلامتی کے ساتھ داخل کردینا۔
وَاجْعَلْ دُعاۤئِىْ اَوَّلَهُ فَلَاحًا
and make the beginning of my prayer successful,
ہماری دعا کی ابتدا فلاح کو
وَاَوْسَطَهُ نَجَاحًا
the middle of it a gain,
اور درمیانی حصّہ کامیابی کو
وَاٰخِرَهُ صَلَاحًا
and the end of it a prosperity.
اور آخری حصّہ صلاح کو قرار دے دے۔
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوْبِ۔
Verily, You are the Knower of all unseen things.
تو تمام غیب کا جاننے والا ہے۔
The same supplicatory prayer in other validly reported copies of the tradition is as follows:
يَا فَكَّاكَ الرِّقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ
O Deliverer of slaves from the Fire,
اے گردنوں کے جہنّم سے آزاد کرنے والے
اَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
I beseech You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
میرا سوال یہ ہے کہ محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما
وَاَنْ تُعْتِقَ رَقَبَتِىْ مِنَ النَّارِ
deliver me from the Fire,
اور میری گردن کو آتشِ جہنّم سے آزاد کردے۔
وَاَنْ تُخْرِجَنِىْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا سَالِمًا
cause me to leave this world free (from liabilities),
مجھے دنیا سے صحیح و سالم اُٹھانا
وَتُدْخِلَنِى الْجَنَّةَ اٰمِنًا
allow me to enter Paradise with security,
اور جنّت میں امن و امان کے ساتھ داخل کردینا۔
وَاَنْ تَجْعَلَ دُعاۤئِىْ اَوَّلَهُ فَلَاحًا
and make the beginning of my prayer successful,
ہماری ابتدا کو فلاح
وَاَوْسَطَهُ نَجَاحًا

اور درمیانی
وَاٰخِرَهُ صَلَاحًا

اور آخر کو صلاح قرار دے دے۔
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوْبِ۔

کہ تو ہی ہر غیب کا جاننے والا ہے۔
