نویں ساعت کی دعا
The ninth hour, which is the space of time between the Afternoon Prayer up to two hours after that, is dedicated to Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Taqi(a.s.). The supplication at this hour is as follows:
يَا مَنْ دَعَاهُ الْمُضْطَرُّوْنَ فَاَجَابَهُمْ
O He Who, when the distressed prayed Him, responded to them,
اے وہ خدا جس سے پریشان حالوں نے دعا کی تو اس نے قبول کرلی۔
وَالْتَجَاَ اِلَيْهِالْخَاۤئِفُوْنَ فَامَنَهُمْ
when the afraid had recourse with Him, granted them security,
خوف زدہ لوگوں نے اس کی پناہ چاہی تو اس نے امن دے دیا،
وَعَبَدَهُ الطَّاۤئِعُوْنَ فَشَكَرَ هُمْ
when the obedient served Him, thanked them,
اطاعت گذاروں نے عبادت کی تو قبول کرلیا۔
وَ شَكَرَهُ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ فَحَبَاهُمْ
when the believers thanked Him, favored upon them,
مومنین نے شکر کیا تو انھیں عطا کردیا،
وَ اَطَاعُوْهُ فَعَصَمَهُمْ
when they obeyed Him, safeguarded them,
اطاعت کی تو انھیں محفوظ کردیا،
وَ سَئَلُوْهُ فَاَعْطَاهُمْ
when they asked Him, gave them,
سوال کیا تو انھیں عطا کردیا
وَ نَسُوْا نِعَمَتَهُ فَلَمْ يُخْلِ شُكْرَهُ مِنْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ
and when they forgot His grace, did not evacuate thanking Him from their hearts;
اور جو اس کی نعمت کو بھول گئے ان کے دلوں کو شکر سے خالی نہیں کیا
وَامْتَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَلَمْ يَجْعَلِ اسْمَهَ مَنْسِيًّا عِنْدَهُمْ
and He favored them when He did not make His Name forgotten by them.
بلکہ ان پر احسان کیا اور اپنے نام کو ان کی نگاہ میں قابلِ فراموش نہیں بنایا۔
اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
I beseech You in the name of Muhammad, the son of 'Ali,
خدایا حضرت محمد بن علی
عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ
peace be upon both of them,
علیہما السلام کا واسطہ دیتے ہوئے
حُجَّتِكَ الْبَالِغَةِ
You conclusive argument,
جو تیری حجّتِ بالغہ
وَ نِعْمَتِكَ السَّابِغَةِ
affluent grace,
اور تیری نعمتِ کاملہ ہیں
وَ مَحَجَّتِكَ الْوَاضِحَةِ
and patent course,
تیرا واضح اور روشن راستہ ہیں
وَ اُقَدِّمُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حَوَاۤئِجِىْ
and I present him as my mediation for the settling of my needs,
اور انھیں کو مقدّم کرکے میری حاجتوں کو پورا عطا فرما۔
