چھٹی ساعت کی دعا
The sixth hour, which is the space of time between the amount of four units of prayer before midday (zohr) up to the time of the Noon Prayer, is dedicated to Imam Ja’far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq(a.s.). The supplication at this hour is the following:
يَا مَنْ لَطُفَ عَنْ اِدْرَاكِ الْاَوْهَامِ
O He Who is too subtle to be comprehended by illusions!
اے وہ خدا جو اوہام کی رسائی سے لطیف تر ہے
يَا مَنْ كَبُرَ عَنْ مَوْجُوْدِ الْبَصَرِ
O He Who is too great to be observed by existent sights!
اور جو نگاہوں کی رسائی سے بزرگ تر ہے۔
يَا مَنْ تَعَالٰى عَنِ الصِّفَاتِ كُلِّهَا
O He Who is too exalted above all attributes!
اس کے صفات بلند و بالا ہیں۔
يَا مَنْ جَلَّ عَنْ مَعَانِى اللُّطْفِ
O He Who is too majestic above all significances of subtlety
وہ معنی لطف سے عظیم تر ہے
وَ لَطُفَ عَنْ مَعَانِى الْجَلَالِ
and too subtle above all significances of majesty!
اور معنی جلال سے لطیف تر ہے۔
اَسْئَلُكَ بِنُوْرِ وَجْهِكَ وَ ضِيَاۤءِ كِبْرِيَاۤئِكَ
beseech You in the name of the light of Your Face and the brightness of Your grandeur
خدایا میں تیرے نورِ اقدس اور تیرے کبریائی کی ضیاء
وَ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ عَظَمَتِكَ
and I beseech You in the name of Your greatness
اور تیرے عظمت کے واسطہ سے سوال کررہا ہوں کہ
الْعَافِيَةَ مِنْ نَّارِكَ
to grant me salvation from Your Fire.
مجھے جہنّم سے نجات عنایت فرما۔
وَ اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْكَ
I also beseech You in the name of the regard of Ja'far, theson of Muhammad, with You
میں حضرت جعفرؑ بن محمدؑ کے حق کے وسیلہ سے
You may now mention your needs.
وَ اُقَدِّمُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حَوَاۤئِجِىْ
and I present him as my mediation for the settling of my needs,
اور انھیں مقدّم کرکے یہ سوال کرتا ہوں کہ میری حاجتوں کو پورا فرما۔
