شیطان وغیرہ کے شر سے محفوظ رہنے کی دعا
Seventeenth: Al-Kulayni and al-Barqi have reported through valid chains of authority that Imam al-Sadiq and Imam al-Kazim (a.s.) said: When evening falls and you look at the sun setting and falling, you may say the following words, because they secure you from all beasts, from the evils of Satan the accursed and his offspring, from whatever bites and stings, and from thieves and demons:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
خدا کے نام سے جو بڑا رحم کرنے والا مہربان ہے
اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِ الَّذِىْ لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا
All praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a son
ساری حمد اس اللہ کے لیے ہے جس نے کسی کو اپنا بیٹا نہیں بنایا۔
وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهُ شَرِيْكٌ فِى الْمُلْكِ
and Who has not a partner in the kingdom,
کوئی اس کے ملک میں شریک نہیں۔
وَالْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِ الَّذِىْ يَصِفُ وَلَا يُوْصَفُ
All praise be to Allah Who describes but He cannot be described
ساری حمد اسی اللہ کے لیے ہے۔ اس کی کوئی صفت بیان نہیں کرسکتا۔
وَ يَعْلَمُ وَلَايُعْلَمُ
and Who knows but He cannot be known.
وہ ہر چیز کو جانتا ہے، اسے کوئی نہیں جانتا۔
يَعْلَمُ خاۤئِنَةَ الْاَعْيُنِ وَ مَا تُخْفِى الصُّدُوْرُ
He knows the stealthy looks and that which the breasts conceal.
وہ نگاہوں کی خیانت اور دلوں کے رازوں کو جانتا ہے۔
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِوَجْهِ اللّٰهِ الْكَرِيْمِ
I seek protection of Allah’s Noble Face and Allah’s Great Name
میں اسی خدائے رحیم کی پناہ
وَ بِاسْمِ اللّٰهِ الْعَظِيْمِ
against the evil of whatever He has originated and created,
اور اسی کے عظیم نام کی پناہ چاہتا ہوں
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا ذَرَءَ وَ بَرَءَ
the evil of what is beneath the soil,
تمام مخلوقات سے جو زمین کے نیچے ہیں
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَحْتَ الثَّرٰى
the evil of what is explicit and what is implicit,
یا اوپر ہیں
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا ظَهَرَ وَ مَا بَطَنَ
the evil of what is in night and what is in daylight,
جن کا شر ظاہر ہے اور جو باطن ہیں،
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا كَانَ فِى اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ
the evil of Abu-Qitrah and all those to whom he gave birth,
جو لیل و نہار میں ہورہا ہے
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ اَبِىْ قِتْرَةَ وَ مَا وَلَدَ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الرَّسِيْسِ
the evil of fever,
ابی قترہ شیطان اور اس کی اولاد کے شر سے شیطان رسیس کے شر سے
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا وَصَفْتُ
and the evil of what I have mentioned and what I have not mentioned.
اس کے شر سے جس کا میں نے ذکر کیا
وَ مَا لَمْ اَصِفْ وَالْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔
All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
اور جس کا ذکر نہیں کیا حمد ہے جہانوں کے رب اللہ کے لیے
Eighteenth: Al-Kulayni has reported through a valid chain of authority that Imam al-Baqir (a.s.) said: Whoever prays Almighty Allah with this supplicatory prayer in the morning will not be afflicted by any harm on that day, and whoever says it in the evening will not be afflicted by any harm at that night, Allah willing:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَصْبَحْتُ فِىْ ذِمَّتِكَ وَ جِوَارِكَ
O Allah, I am in this morning under Your inviolability and in Your vicinity.
خدایا میں نے صبح کی ہے تیرے ذمّے میں تیری پناہ میں۔ میں اپنے دین، اپنے نفس
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّى اَسْتَوْدِعُكَ دِيْنِىْ وَ نَفْسِىْ
O Allah, I entrust with You my religion, myself,
اور تیرے امان میں دیتا ہوں اپنے دین، نفس
وَ دُنْيَاىَ وَ اٰخِرَتِىْ
my world, my Hereafter,
دنیا و آخرت،
وَ اَهْلِىْ وَ مَالِىْ
my family, and my property.
اہل و مال سب کو تیرے امان میں دیتا ہوں،
وَ اَعُوْذُبِكَ يَا عَظِيْمُ مِنْ شَرِّ خَلْقِكَ جَمِيْعًا
I pray for the protection of You, O All-great, against the evil of all of Your creatures.
میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں اے خدائے عظیم، مخلوقات کے شر سے
وَ اَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا يُبْلِسُ بِهِ اِبْلِيْسُ وَ جُنُوْدُهُ۔
I also pray for Your protection against the evil by which IblTs and his troops confound (us).
اور شیطان اور اس کے لشکروں کے شر سے۔
Nineteenth: Al-Kulayni has reported through a semi-authentic chain of authority that a man came to Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) and asked him to teach him a supplicatory prayer he would say every morning and evening. The Imam (a.s.) therefore instructed him to say the following:
اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِ الَّذِىْ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشاۤءُ
All praise be to Allah Who does whatever He wills
ساری حمد اس اللہ کے لیے ہے وہ جو چاہتا ہے کرسکتا ہے۔
وَلَايَفْعَلُ مَا يَشاۤءُ غَيْرُهُ
and no one else can do what one wills.
اس کے علاوہ کوئی ایسا صاحبِ اختیار نہیں۔
اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِ كَمَا يُحِبُّ اللهُ اَنْ يُحْمَدَ
All praise be to Allah just as Allah likes to be praised.
ساری حمد اس اللہ کے لیے ہے جس طرح وہ حمد چاہتا ہے۔
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ كَمَا هُوَ اَهْلُهُ
All praise be to Allah just as He deserves.
ساری حمد اللہ کے لیے ہے جیسا وہ حمد چاہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَدْخِلْنِىْ فِىْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ
O Allah, (please) include me withevery good item
خدایا مجھے ہر اس چیز میں داخل کردے
اَدْخَلْتَ فيهِ مُحَمَّدًا وَّ اٰلَ مُحَمَّدٍ
with which You have included Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
جس میں محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ کو داخل کیا ہے
وَّ اَخْرِجْنِىْ مِنْ كُلِّ سُوْءٍ
and take me out of any evil
اور ہر اس برائی سے نکال دے
اَخْرَجْتَ مِنْهُ مُحَمَّدًا وَّ اٰلَ مُحَمَّدٍ
from which You have taken out Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
جس سے محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ کو نکال دیا ہے
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
May Allah bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اور محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما۔
Twentieth: In the book of al-Balad al-Amin, the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) is reported to have said: Whoever repeats this saying (composed of Quranic verses) seven times in the morning, Almighty Allah will save him that whole day:
فَاللهُ خَيْرٌ حَافِظًا وَ هُوَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
Allah is the best Keeper, and He is the most Merciful of the merciful ones.
اللہ بہترین حافظ ہے اور وہ بہترین رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اِنَّ وَلِيِّىَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِىْ نَزَّلَ الْكِتَابَ
Surely, my guardian is Allah Who revealed the Book,
میرا سرپرست وہ خدا ہے جس نے کتاب کو نازل کیا
وَ هُوَ يَتَوَلَّى الصَّالِحِيْنَ
and He guards the righteous.
اور وہی تمام نیک بندوں کا سرپرست ہے۔
فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِىَ اللّٰهُ
But if they turn back, say: Allah is sufficient for me,
اس کے بعد اگر لوگ اس سے منہ پھراتے ہیں تو میرا خدا میرے لیے کافی ہے۔
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ
there is no god but He;
اس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں۔
عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ
on Him do I rely,
میرا اعتماد اسی پر ہے
وَ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظيْمِ
and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.
اور وہی عرشِ عظیم کا مالک ہے۔
