قرآن سے استخارہ کی دعا
It is worth mentioning that ‘Allamah al-Majlisi has reported from some books written by our scholars on the authority of a book handwritten by Shaykh Yusuf al-’Uthmani on the authority of a book handwritten by Ayatollah ‘Allamah who said that Imam al-Sadiq (‘a) is reported to have said:
If you intend for Istikharah( ) from the Mighty Book (i.e. the Holy Qur’an), you may say this supplicatory prayer:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّ حْمٰنِ الرَّ حِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
خدا کے نام سے شروع جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
اِنْ كَانَ فِىْ قَضَاۤئِكَ وَقَدَرِكَ
If it is within Your determination and decree
الہٰی اگر تیرے حکم اور فیصلے میں یہ بات ہے
اَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلٰى شِيْعَةِ اٰلِمُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ
that You may bestow upon the partisans of Muhammad’s Household, peace be upon them,
کہ شیعیان آل ؑ محمدؐ پراحسان فرمائے
بِفَرَجِ وَلِيِّكَ
with the favor of relieving Your representative
کشائش وآسائش دے کر
وَ حُجَّتِكَ عَلٰى خَلْقِكَ
and Your argument-person against Your creatures;
اپنے ولی اور اپنی حجّت پر جو تیری مخلوق کے لیے ہے
فَاَخْرِجْ اِلَيْنَاۤ اٰيَةً مِنْ كِتَابِكَ
so, (please) bring out for us a verse from Your Book
تو ظاہر فرما ہم پر ایسی آیت اپنی کتاب سے
نَسْتَدِلُّ بِهَا عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ۔
from which we may draw a conclusion of that (matter).
جو اس پر ہماری دلیل بن جائے۔
You may then open the copy of the Holy Qur’an, count six pages, count six lines of the seventh page, and see what is written therein.”
