تعقیبات نماز صبح
As quoted from Misbah al-Mutahajjid
Subsequent to the dawn (fajr) (fajr) Prayer, say the following supplicatory prayer, as quoted from Misbah al-Mutahajjid:
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما
وَ اهْدِنِيْ لِمَا اخْتُلِفَ فِيْهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِاِذْنِكَ
and guide me, by Your permission, to the right about which discrepancies have taken place.
اور جہاں بھی حق کے بارے میں کوئی اختلاف ہے مجھے حق کی ہدایت عطا فرما
اِنَّكَ تَهْدِيْ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيْمٍ۔
Verily, You guide him whom You wish to a straight path.
کہ تو جس کو چاہے صراطِ مستقیم کی ہدایت دے سکتا ہے۔
Again, repeat the following invocation ten times:
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
خدایا محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما،
۟اِلْاَوْصِيَاۤءِ الرَّاضِيْنَ الْمَرْضِيِّيْنَ
the consenting and pleased Successors,
وہ آل پیغمبر جو اوصیاء ہیں اور تجھ سے راضی ہیں اور تیرے پسندیدہ بھی ہیں
بِاَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ
with the best of Your blessings,
انھیں بہترین صلوات عطا فرما
وَ بَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ بِاَفْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ
and confer upon them the best of your favors.
اور بہترین برکتوں سے سرفراز فرما،
وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِمْ
Peace be upon them
سلام ان پر ان کے
وَ عَلٰى اَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَ اَجْسَادِهِمْ
and their souls and bodies.
ارواح و اجسام پر،
وَ رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ ۔
Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon them.
اور اللہ کی تمام رحمتیں اور برکتیں ان کے لئے ہیں۔
میں خدا سے جنت کا سوال کرتا ہوں
This invocation of God’s blessings upon the Holy Prophet and his Household has been also reported to be said on Fridays with a great reward.
Also, say the following:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَحْيِنِيْ عَلٰى مَاۤ اَحْيَيْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَلِيَّ بْنَ اَبِي طَالِبٍ
O Allah, (please) make me live carrying the conducts on which You made 'Ali the son of Abu-Talib live
خدایا ہمیں اس راستہ پر زندہ رکھنا جو علیؑ ابن ابیطالبؑ کا راستہ ہے
وَ اَمِتْنِيْ عَلٰى مَا مَاتَ عَلَيْهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ اَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ۔
and make me die on the principles for which 'Ali the son of Abu-Talib—peace be upon him—died.
اور اسی پر موت دینا جو علی بن ابی طالب علیہ السلام کا راستہ ہے۔
Also, repeat each of the following statements one hundred times:
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ
(1) I pray the forgiveness of Allah and I repent before Him.
میں خدا کی بارگاہ میں استغفار اور توبہ کررہا ہوں
اَسْاَلُ اللهَ الْعَافِيَةَ
(2) I beseech Allah for good health.
پروردگار میں تجھ سے عافیت کا سوال کر رہا ہوں
اَسْتَجِيْرُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ النَّارِ
(3) I seek Allah’s protection against Hellfire.
میں جہنم سے خدا کی پناہ چاہتا ہوں
وَ اَسْاَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ
(4) I ask Him for Paradise.
میں خدا سے جنت کا سوال کرتا ہوں
اَسْاَلُ اللهَ الْحُوْرَ الْعِيْنَ۔
(5) I ask Allah for the Paradisiacal Women.
میں خدا سے حورعین کا سوال کرتا ہوں
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ الْمُبِيْنُ
(6) There is no god save Allah the King and evident Truth.
اس خدا کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے جو بادشاہ برحق ہے
(7) Surah al-Tawhid
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
(8) May Allah send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
پروردگار محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل کرے
سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ
(9) All glory be to Allah,
پاک و پاکیزہ ہے وہ خدا
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
all praise be to Allah,
اور حمد اسی کے لئے ہے۔
وَ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ
there is no god save Allah,
اس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے۔
وَ اللهُ اَكْبَرُ
Allah is the Greatest,
وہ سب سے بزرگ ہے۔
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ۔
and there is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All- high and All-great.
اس خدائے علی و عظیم کے علاوہ کوئی قوت و طاقت نہیں ہے۔
مَا شَاۤءَ اللهُ كَانَ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ۔
(10) Only that which Allah wills shall come to pass and there is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All-high and All¬great.
جو خدا نے چاہا وہ ہو گیا اس لئے کہ خدائے علی و عظیم کے علاوہ کسی کے پاس کوئی طاقت نہیں ہے۔
You may then say the following:
اَصْبَحْتُ اَللّٰهُمَّ مُعْتَصِمًا بِذِمَامِكَ الْمَنِيْعِ
O Allah, I have begun this morning seeking refuge with Your invulnerable security
خدایا میں نے اس محکم رشتے سے تمسک کرتے ہوئے صبح کی ہے
الَّذِيْ لَا يُطَاوَلُ وَ لَا يُحَاوَلُ
that is neither touched nor caught
جس سے محکم تر کوئی رشتہ نہیں ہے تا کہ میں
مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ غَاشِمٍ وَ طَارِقٍ
against the evil of all oppressive and domineering ones
ہر ظالم اور راہزن کے شر سے محفوظ رہوں
مِنْ سَاۤئِرِ مَنْ خَلَقْتَ وَ مَا خَلَقْتَ
from among all Your animate and inanimate creatures
چاہے وہ تیری جانداد مخلوق میں ہو یا
مِنْ خَلْقِكَ الصَّامِتِ وَ النَّاطِقِ
both the silent and the speaking;
بے جان مخلوق میں، صامت ہو یا ناطق
فِي جُنَّةٍ مِنْ كُلِّ مَخُوْفٍ
and being in protection against all terrifying things;
کہ میں ہر خوفناک چیز سے پناہ میں رہوں
بِلِبَاسٍ سَابِغَةٍ
and being in the complete garb
اس لباس عافیت کے طفیل میں
وَلَاۤءِ اَهْلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ
of my loyalty to the Household of Your Prophet;
جو تیرے پیغمبر کے اہل بیتؑ کی محبت ہے
مُحْتَجِبًا مِنْ كُلِّ قَاصِدٍ لِيْ اِلٰى اَذِيَّةٍ
and veiling myself against all those who intend harm to me,
اور اپنے کو محفوظ رکھوں ہر اس شخص سے جو میرے لئے کسی اذیت کا ارادہ کرے
بِجِدَارٍ حَصِيْنٍ
behind an impervious wall,
اور اس محکم سد سکندری کے ذریعہ
الْاِخْلَاصِ فِي الْاِعْتِرَافِ بِحَقِّهِمْ
which is my sincerity in the profession of their (Divinely commissioned) right (of leadership)
جو حق اہل بیتؑ کے اعتراف میں اخلاص
وَ التَّمَسُّكِ بِحَبْلِهِمْ
and my adherence to their Rope,
اور ان کی ہدایت سے تمسک کے ذریعہ حاصل ہوتا ہے
مُوْقِنًا اَنَّ الْحَقَّ لَهُمْ وَ مَعَهُمْ
and bearing with certainty that the Right is theirs, with them,
اس یقین کے ساتھ کہ حق ان کے لئے ہے،
وَ فِيْهِمْ وَ بِهِمْ
in them, and amid them.
ان کے ساتھ ہے اور انھیں میں ہے
اُوَالِيْ مَنْ وَالَوْا
I thus accede to those whom they accept
میں ان سب سے محبت کرتا ہوں جو ان سے محبت کریں
وَ اُجَانِبُ مَنْ جَانَبُوْا
and depart those whom they depart.
اور ان سب سے الگ رہتا ہو جوان سے الگ ہو گئے ہیں۔
فَاَعِذْنِي اَللّٰهُمَّ بِهِمْ
O Allah, protect me, in the names of them,
خدایا مجھے ان کے طفیل میں
مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ مَا اَتَّقِيْهِ يَا عَظِيْمُ
against the evil of all that which I fear, O All-great.
ہر اس شئے کہ شر محفوظ رکھنا جس سے میں بچنا چاہتا ہوں۔اے خدائے عظیم
حَجَزْتُ الْاَعَادِيَ عَنِّي بِبَدِيْعِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ
I am restraining the enemies against me through the Originator of the heavens and the earth;
میں نے تمام دشمنوں کو روک دیا ہے اس مالک کے سہارے جو زمین و آسمان کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے
اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مِنْ بَيْنِ اَيْدِيْهِمْ سَدًّا
“And We have set a bar before them
جس کا ارشاد ہے کہ ہم نے ان کے سامنے
وَ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا
and a bar behind them,
اور پشت سے ایک دیوار قائم کردی ہے
فَاَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُوْنَ ۔
and (thus) have covered them so that they see not.”
اور ان کی آنکھوں پر پردے ڈال دئیے ہیں کہ اب وہ ظالم کچھ دیکھ نہیں سکتے ہیں۔
This supplication, which is reported from Imam AliAmeer al-Momineen(a.s.) at the Night of Mabit, is advisably said each morning and evening.
In Tahdhib al-Ahkam (by Shaykh al-Tusi), it is reported that whoever repeats the following litany ten times after the dawn (fajr) Prayers, Almighty Allah will save him from blindness, insanity, leprosy, poverty, and (house) demolition or dotage:
سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ الْعَظِيْمِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ
All glory be to Allah, the All-great and in praise of Him;
پاک و منزہ ہے وہ خدائے بزرگ اور حمد اسی کے لئے ہے۔
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ
and there is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All- high and All-great.
کوئی طاقت اور کوئی قوت اس خدائے علی و عظیم کے علاوہ نہیں ہے۔
Shaykh al-Kulayni reports Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq(a.s.) as saying: Whoever repeats the following litany seven times after the dawn (fajr) and Sunset Prayers, Almighty Allah will saved him from seventy kinds of misfortune the least of which are flatulence, leprosy, and insanity; and his name will be erased from the list of the condemned ones, if it was listed there, and will be added to the list of the happy ones:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah the All- compassionate, the All-merciful;
خدائے رحمان و رحیم کے نام سے
لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ
there is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All-high and All-great.
اور کوئی قوت اور توانائی اس خدائے علی و عظیم کے علاوہ نہیں ہے۔
Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq(a.s.) is also reported to have said that one who desires to enjoy both the worldly life and the Next World, and one who has eye ache, should utter the following supplicatory prayer after the dawn (fajr) and Sunset Prayers:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّي اَسْاَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْكَ
O Allah, I do beseech You, in the name of the right of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad that is incumbent upon You
خدایا میں تجھ سے محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ کےاس حق کے وسیلہ سے سوال کرتا ہوں
صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
جو تونے ان کے اوپر قرار دیا ہے کہ محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما
وَ اجْعَلِ النُّوْرَ فِي بَصَرِيْ
and to make light in my sight,
اور ہماری آنکھوں میں نور،
وَ الْبَصِيْرَةَ فِي دِيْنِيْ
discerning in my religion,
ہمارے دین میں بصیرت،
وَ الْيَقِيْنَ فِي قَلْبِيْ
conviction in my heart,
ہمارے دل میں یقین،
وَ الْاِخْلَاصَ فِي عَمَلِيْ
sincerity in my deeds,
ہمارے عمل میں اخلاص،
وَ السَّلَامَةَ فِي نَفْسِيْ
safety in my self,
ہمارے نفس میں سلامتی،
وَ السَّعَةَ فِي رِزْقِي
richness in my sustenance,
ہمارے رزق میں وسعت دے
وَ الشُّكْرَ لَكَ اَبَدًا مَا اَبْقَيْتَنِيْ
and perpetual thankfulness for You as long as you keep me alive.
اور ہمیں شکر کی توفیق عطا فرما کہ جب تک زندہ رہوں تیرا شکر ادا کر تا رہوں۔
In ‘Uddat al-Dai, Shaykh Ibn Fahad reports Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Rida(a.s.) to have said: Whoever says the following statement after the dawn (fajr) Prayer, will have all his requests made easy-to-gain for him and will be saved by Almighty Allah against every thing that aggrieves him:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ
In the Name of Allah.
بنام خدا،
وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِهِ
May Allah bless Muhammad and his Household.
اللہ محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل کرے
وَ اُفَوِّضُ اَمْرِيْ اِلَى اللّٰهِ
“I confide my cause unto Allah.
میں اپنے معاملات کو خدا کے حوالے کر رہا ہوں
اِنَّ اللهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
Surely, Allah is Seer of His slaves.
کہ وہ اپنے بندوں کے حالات کو بہتر جانتا ہے۔
فَوَقَاهُ اللهُ سَيِّئَاتِ مَا مَكَرُوْا
So, Allah warded off from him the evils which they plotted.”
اللہ بندوں کو لوگوں کے مکر وشر کی برائی سے بچانے والا ہے۔
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ
“There is no god save You. Be You Glorified!
اے خدا تیرے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں ہے۔
اِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ
Lo! I have been a wrongdoer.
میں خود اپنے حق میں ظلم کرنے والا ہوں،
فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَ نَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ
Then, We heard his prayer and saved him from the anguish.
ہم ہی نے بندے کی دعا قبول کی اور اسے غم سے نجات دے دی
وَ كَذٰلِكَ نُنْجِي الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
Thus do We save the believers.”
اور ہم اسی طرح مومنین کو نجات دیا کرتے ہیں،
حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ
“Allah is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust.
میرے لئے خدا کافی ہے اور وہی بہترین ذمہ دار،
فَانْقَلَبُوْا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَ فَضْلٍ
So, they returned with grace and favor from Allah,
لوگ اس کے نعمت و فضل سے یوں منقلب ہوئے کہ
لَّمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوۤءٌ
and no harm touched them.”
ان تک کوئی برائی نہیں پہنچ سکی۔
مَا شَاۤءَ اللهُ
Only that which Allah wills shall come to pass.
جو اللہ نے چاہا وہ ہو گیا کہ
لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ
There is neither strength nor power save with Allah.
اس کے علاوہ کوئی طاقت نہیں ہے۔
مَا شَاۤءَ اللهُ لَا مَا شَاۤءَ النَّاسُ،
Only that which Allah, but not people, wills shall come to pass.
اسی کا چاہا ہوتا ہے۔ لوگوں کا چاہا نہیں ہوتا ہے۔
مَا شَاۤءَ اللهُ وَ اِنْ كَرِهَ النَّاسُ
Only that which Allah wills shall come to pass even if people detest it.
جو چاہتا ہے ہو جاتا ہے چاہے لوگوں کو ناگوار ہی کیوں نہ ہو،
حَسْبِيَ الرَّبُّ مِنَ الْمَرْبُوْبِيْنَ
Sufficient for me is the Lord against the lorded.
میرے لئے پالنے والا تمام مخلوقات کے مقابلہ میں
حَسْبِيَ الْخَالِقُ مِنَ الْمَخْلُوْقِيْنَ
Sufficient for me is the Creator against the creatures.
اور خالق تمام مخلوقات کے مقابلہ میں
حَسْبِيَ الرَّازِقُ مِنَ الْمَرْزُوْقِيْنَ
Sufficient for me is the Sustainer against the sustained.
اور رزق دینے والا بندوں کے مقابلہ میں کافی ہے۔
حَسْبِيَ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
Sufficient for me is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
اور خدائے ربّ العالمین بہر حال کافی ہے،
حَسْبِيْ مَنْ هُوَ حَسْبِيْ
Sufficient for me is He Who is sufficient for me.
میرے لئے وہی کافی ہے جو کافی ہے۔
حَسْبِيْ مَنْ لَمْ يَزَلْ حَسْبِيْ
Sufficient for me is He Who has been always sufficient for me.
وہ ہمیشہ سے کافی ہے۔
حَسْبِيْ مَنْ كَانَ مُذْ كُنْتُ لَمْ يَزَلْ حَسْبِيْ
Sufficient for me is He Who had been since eternity and still sufficient for me.
جب سے میں وجود میں آیا ہمیشہ میرے لئے کافی رہا۔
حَسْبِيَ اللهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ
“Allah suffices me. There is no god save Him.
وہی خدا خدائے کافی ہے، اس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے۔
عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ
In Him have I put my trust,
اسی پر میرا بھروسہ ہے
وَ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ۔
and He is the Lord of the Tremendous Throne.”
اور وہی صاحبِ عرش عظیم ہے۔
