دعائے حفظ ايمان - ۱
According to the view of Fakhr al-Muhaqqiqin, Dua al-’Adilah along with calling its contents in one’s mind grants security against the danger of deviation at the hour of death. The question whether this supplication has been reported from the Holy Imams, peace be upon them, or has been composed by a certain scholar is controversial. Concerning this, our master Hajj MirzaHusayn al-Nuri, a master Hadithist and well-versed in the reports of the Holy Imams, peace be upon them, says that Dua al-’Adilah has been composed by some scholars since it cannot be found in the famous books of Hadith. It is also worth mentioning that Shaykh al-Tusi has narrated that Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Daylami said to Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq(a.s.) “Your adherents say that Faith is of two sections; one is steady and the other depository. So, please teach me a supplication that makes my faith perfect and saves it from removal.” Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) hence taught him to say the following supplicatory prayer after each obligatory prayer:
رَضِيْتُ بِاللّٰهِ رَبًّا
I have submitted to Allah being my Lord,
میں خدا کے رب ہونے،
وَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِهِ نَبِيًّا
to Muhammad—may Allah send blessings to him and his Household—being [my] Prophet,
حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ کے نبی ہونے،
وَ بِالْاِسْلَامِ دِيْنًا
to Islam being my religion,
اسلام کے دین ہونے،
وَ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ كِتَابًا
to the Qur'an being my book,
قرآن کےکتاب ہونے،
وَ بِالْكَعْبَةِ قِبْلَةً
to the Ka'bah being my direction,
کعبے کا قبلہ ہونے ،
وَ بِعَلِيٍّ وَلِيًّا وَ اِمَامًا
to 'Ali being my guardian and leader,
اور حضرت علی علیہ السلام کے ولی امام
وَ بِالْحَسَنِ وَ الْحُسَيْنِ
to al-Hasan, al-Husayn,
اور حضرت حسنؑ و حسینؑ،
وَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
Ali ibn al-Husayn, Muhammad ibn 'Ali,
علی بن الحسینؑ، محمؑد بن علیؑ،
وَ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ مُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ
Ja'far ibn Muhammad, Musa ibn Ja'far,
جعفرؑ بن محمدؑ، موسیٰؑ بن جعفرؑ،
وَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوْسٰى وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
Ali ibn Musa,Muhammad ibn 'Ali,
علیؑ بن موسیٰؑ، محمد بن علیؑ،
وَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
Ali ibn Muhammad, al-Hasan ibn 'Ali,
علیؑ بن محمدؑ، حسنؑ بن علیؑ ،
وَ الْحُجَّةِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ
and the Argument [of Allah] and the son of al-Hasan,
اور حجت بن الحسنؑ کے پیشوا
صَلَوَاتُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْهِمْ اَئِمَّةً
Allah’s blessings be upon them, being my leaders.
ہونے سے راضی اور مطمئن ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ رَضِيْتُ بِهِمْ اَئِمَّةً
O Allah, I submit to them as my leaders;
خدایا میں ان کی امامت سے راضی ہوں تو ان کو
فَارْضَنِيْ لَهُمْ
so, make me accepted in their sight.
مجھ سے راضی کر دے کہ
اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
Verily, You have power over all things.
تو ہر شئے پر قدرت اور اختیار رکھنے والا ہے۔
