دعائے حضرت مہدی (عج)
The Supplication of Imam al-Mahdi(a.s.):
Al-Kaf’ami, in al-Misbah, says “This is the supplicatory prayer of Imam al-Mahdi(a.s.):
اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا تَوْفِيْقَ الطَّاعَةِ
O Allah, (please do) grant us success to obey (You),
خدایا ہمیں اطاعت کی توفیق،
وَ بُعْدَ الْمَعْصِيَةِ
remoteness from disobedience (to You),
معصیت سے دوری،
وَ صِدْقَ النِّيَّةِ
true intention,
نیت میں صداقت،
وَ عِرْفَانَ الْحُرْمَةِ
and identification of sanctity.
محترم چیزوں کا عرفان عطا فرما۔
وَ اَكْرِمْنَا بِالْهُدٰى وَ الْاِسْتِقَامَةِ
(Please do) honor us with true guidance and straightforwardness,
ہمیں ہدایت و استقامت کی کرامت عطا فرما۔
وَ سَدِّدْ اَلْسِنَتَنَا بِالصَّوَابِ وَ الْحِكْمَةِ
dedicate our tongues to truth and wisdom,
ہماری زبانوں کو صداقت و حکمت کے راستے پر لگا دے۔
وَ امْلَأْ قُلُوْبَنَا بِالْعِلْمِ وَ الْمَعْرِفَةِ
fill our hearts with knowledge and learning,
ہمارے دلوں کو علم ومعرفت سے بھر دے۔
وَ طَهِّرْ بُطُوْنَنَا مِنَ الْحَرَامِ وَ الشُّبْهَةِ
purify our stomachs from illegally and suspiciously gotten food,
ہمارے شکم کو حرام اور مشتبہ چیزوں سے پاک کر دے۔
وَ اكْفُفْ اَيْدِيَنَا عَنِ الظُّلْمِ وَ السَّرِقَةِ
withhold our hands from oppression and larceny,
ہمارے ہاتھوں کو ظلم اور چوری سے روک دے۔
وَ اغْضُضْ اَبْصَارَنَا عَنِ الْفُجُوْرِ وَ الْخِيَانَةِ
turn our sights away from licentiousness and treachery,
ہماری نگاہوں کو فجور اور خیانت سے بند کردے۔
وَ اسْدُدْ اَسْمَاعَنَا عَنِ اللَّغْوِ وَ الْغِيْبَةِ
and block our hearings against vainness and backbiting,
ہمارے کانوں کے راستے لغو و غیبت سے مسدود کر دے۔
وَ تَفَضَّلْ عَلٰى عُلَمَاۤئِنَا بِالزُّهْدِ وَ النَّصِيْحَةِ
confer upon our scholars with asceticism and advice,
ہمارے علماء کو زُہد و نصیحت،
وَ عَلَى الْمُتَعَلِّمِيْنَ بِالْجُهْدِ وَ الرَّغْبَةِ
upon the learners with hard work and desire (to learning),
متعلّمین کو کوشش اور رغبت،
وَ عَلَى الْمُسْتَمِعِيْنَ بِالْاِتِّبَاعِ وَ الْمَوْعِظَةِ
upon the listeners with following and learning (lessons),
سننے والوں کو اتباع اور موعظت کی توفیق عطا فرما۔
وَ عَلٰى مَرْضَى الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ بِالشِّفَاۤءِ وَ الرَّاحَةِ
upon the Muslim patients with cure and comfort,
بیمار مسلمانوں کو شفا و راحت دے۔
وَ عَلٰى مَوْتَاهُمْ بِالرَّأْفَةِ وَ الرَّحْمَةِ،
upon the dead Muslims with kindness and mercy,
مرنے والوں پر مہربانی اور رحمت فرما۔
وَ عَلٰى مَشَايِخِنَا بِالْوَقَارِ وَ السَّكِيْنَةِ
upon our aged people with somberness and gentleness,
بزرگوں کو وقار اور سکون عطا فرما۔
وَ عَلَى الشَّبَابِ بِالْاِنَابَةِ وَ التَّوْبَةِ
upon the youths with turning (to You) and repentance,
نوجوانوں کو توبہ و استغفار،
وَ عَلَى النِّسَاۤءِ بِالْحَيَاۤءِ وَ الْعِفَّةِ
upon the women with shyness and chastity,
اور عورتوں کو حیا و عفّت،
وَ عَلَى الْاَغْنِيَاۤءِ بِالتَّوَاضُعِ وَ السَّعَةِ
upon the rich with modesty and ample giving,
مالداروں کو تواضع اور وسعت،
وَ عَلَى الْفُقَرَاۤءِ بِالصَّبْرِ وَ الْقَنَاعَةِ
upon the poor with patience and satisfaction,
فقراء کو صبر اور قناعت،
وَ عَلَى الْغُزَاةِ بِالنَّصْرِ وَ الْغَلَبَةِ
upon the warriors with triumph and supremacy,
مجاہدوں کو نصرت اور غلبہ،
وَ عَلَى الْاُسَرَاۤءِ بِالْخَلَاصِ وَ الرَّاحَةِ
upon the prisoners with release and comfort,
قیدیوں کو آزادی و راحت،
وَ عَلَى الْاُمَرَاۤءِ بِالْعَدْلِ وَ الشَّفَقَةِ
upon the rulers with justice and sympathy,
امیدوں کو عدل و شفقت،
وَ عَلَى الرَّعِيَّةِ بِالْاِنْصَافِ وَ حُسْنِ السِّيْرَةِ
and upon the subjects with impartiality and good behavior.
رعایا کو انصاف و حسنِ سیرت کی توفیق عطا فرما۔
وَ بَارِكْ لِلْحُجَّاجِ وَ الزُّوَّارِ فِيْ الزَّادِ وَ النَّفَقَةِ
(Please do) bless the pilgrims to Mecca and the visitors (of the tombs of the saints) with provision and expenditure,
حجّاج و زوّار کے زادِ راہ اور نفقہ میں برکت عطا فرما
وَ اقْضِ مَاۤ اَوْجَبْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ الْحَجِّ وَ الْعُمْرَةِ
and help them settle the Hajj and 'Umrah that You have made incumbent upon them,
اور جو فریضۂ حج و عمرہ ان کے ذمّہ واجب کیا ہے اُسے ادا فرما دے
بِفَضْلِكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ يَاۤ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
in the name of Your grace and mercy, O most merciful of all those who show mercy!
اپنے فضل و رحمت سے اے ارحم الراحمین۔
