۹۸ : سورة البينة
SURAH AL-BAYYINAH (THE CLEAR EVIDENCE)
This surah has 8 verses and it is a ‘Madani’ surah. The Holy Prophet (S) said that if people knew the benefits of reciting this surah, they would leave their work in order to learn it.
If a person recites this surah at night, then Allah (s.w.t) sends angels to protect the reciter and his faith is also secure. The angels seek forgiveness for him. The reward for reciting this surah is equal to all those things on this Earth upon which the sun shines.
Writing and drinking water of this surah is beneficial for cure of ailments. surah al-Bayyinah is also good for pregnant women and helps to ensure their safety and the safety of their child. Reciting this surah before eating food removes any ill effects of the foods.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ مُنْفَكِّيْنَ حَتّٰى تَاْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ ۙ(1)
(1) Those who disbelieved from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists could not have separated (from the faithful) until there had come to them the clear evidence:
(1) اہل کتاب کے کفاّر اور دیگر مشرکین اپنے کفر سے الگ ہونے والے نہیں تھے جب تک کہ ان کے پاس کُھلی دلیل نہ آجاتی
رَسُوْلٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ يَتْلُوْا صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً ۙ(2)
(2) An apostle from Allah, reciting pure pages,
(2) اللہ کی طرف کا نمائندہ جو پاکیزہ صحفیوں کی تلاوت کرے
فِيْهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ ؕ(3)
(3) Wherein are all the right ordinances.
(3) جن میں قیمتی اور مضبوط باتیں لکھی ہوئی ہیں
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ اِلَّا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ ؕ(4)
(4) And those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence had come to them.
(4) اور یہ اہل کتاب متفرق نہیں ہوئے مگر اس وقت جب ان کے پاس کُھلی ہوئی دلیل آگئی
وَمَاۤ اُمِرُوْۤا اِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ ۙ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَذٰلِكَ دِيْنُ الْقَيِّمَةِ ؕ(5)
(5) And they were not enjoined anything except that they should serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, upright, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and that is the right religion.
(5) اور انہیں صرف اس بات کا حکم دیا گیا تھا کہ خدا کی عبادت کریں اور اس عبادت کو اسی کے لئے خالص رکھیں اور نماز قائم کریں اور زکوٰہ ادا کریں اور یہی سچاّ اور مستحکم دین ہے
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ فِىْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا ؕ اُولٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ ؕ(6)
(6) Surely those who disbelieve from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists shall be in the fire of hell, abiding therein; they are the worst of men.
(6) بے شک اہل کتاب میں جن لوگوں نے کفر اختیار کیا ہے اور دیگر مشرکین سب جہنمّ میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں اور یہی بدترین خلائق ہیں
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِۙ اُولٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ ؕ(7)
(7) (As for) those who believe and do good, surely they are the -best of men.
(7) اور بے شک جو لوگ ایمان لائے ہیں اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کئے ہیں وہ بہترین خلائق ہیں
جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنّٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِىْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَاۤ اَبَدًا ؕ رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ ؕ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهٗ(8)
(8) Their reward with their Lord is gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein for ever; Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him; that is for him who fears his Lord.
(8) پروردگار کے یہاں ان کی جزاء وہ باغات ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی وہ انہی میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں خدا ان سے راضی ہے اور وہ اس سے راضی ہیں اور یہ سب اس کے لئے ہے جس کے دل میں خوف خدا ہے
