۸۴ : سورة الإنشقاق
SURAH AL-INSHIQAQ (THE BURSTING ASUNDER)
This surah has 25 verses and it was revealed in Mecca. The Holy Prophet (S) has said that the one who recites this surah will not get his book of deeds from his back on the Day of Reckoning.
If written and worn by a pregnant woman, the delivery of the baby becomes easy. However, it is important that after delivery, this surah should be kept away from her. If this surah is tied on any animal (eg. camels or horses) then it keeps them safe.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
اِذَا السَّمَآءُ انْشَقَّتْۙ(1)
(1) When the heaven bursts asunder,
(1) جب آسمان پھٹ جائے گا
وَاَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْۙ(2)
(2) And obeys its Lord and it must.
(2) اور اپنے پروردگار کا حکم بجا لائے گا اور یہ ضروری بھی ہے
وَاِذَا الْاَرْضُ مُدَّتْؕ(3)
(3) And when the earth is stretched,
(3) اور جب زمین برابر کرکے پھیلا دی جائے گی
وَاَلْقَتْ مَا فِيْهَا وَتَخَلَّتْۙ(4)
(4) And casts forth what is in it and becomes empty,
(4) اور وہ اپنے ذخیرے پھینک کر خالی ہوجائے گی
وَاَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْؕ(5)
(5) And obeys its Lord and it must.
(5) اور اپنے پروردگار کا حکم بجا لائے گی اور یہ ضروری بھی ہے
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الْاِنْسَانُ اِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلٰقِيْهِۚ(6)
(6) O man! surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him.
(6) اے انسان تو اپنے پروردگار کی طرف جانے کی کوشش کررہا ہے تو ایک دن اس کا سامنا کرے گا
فَاَمَّا مَنْ اُوْتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِيَمِيْنِهٖۙ(7)
(7) Then as to him who is given his book in his right hand,
(7) پھر جس کو نامہ اعمال داہنے ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا
فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَّسِيْرًا ۙ(8)
(8) He shall be reckoned with by an easy reckoning,
(8) اس کا حساب آسان ہوگا
وَّيَنْقَلِبُ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهٖ مَسْرُوْرًا ؕ(9)
(9) And he shall go back to his people joyful.
(9) اور وہ اپنے اہل کی طرف خوشی خوشی واپس آئے گا
وَاَمَّا مَنْ اُوْتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهٖۙ(10)
(10) And as to him who is given his book behind his back,
(10) اور جس کو نامہ اعمال پشت کی طرف سے دیا جائے گا
فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوْا ثُبُوْرًا ۙ(11)
(11) He shall call for perdition,
(11) وہ عنقریب موت کی دعا کرے گا
وَّيَصْلٰى سَعِيْرًا ؕ(12)
(12) And enter into burning fire.
(12) اور جہنمّ کی آگ میں داخل ہوگا
اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فِىْۤ اَهْلِهٖ مَسْرُوْرًا ؕ(13)
(13) Surely he was (erstwhile) joyful among his followers.
(13) یہ پہلے اپنے اہل و عیال میں بہت خوش تھا
اِنَّهٗ ظَنَّ اَنْ لَّنْ يَّحُوْرَ ۛۚ(14)
(14) Surely he thought that he would never return.
(14) اور اس کا خیال تھا کہ پلٹ کر خدا کی طرف نہیں جائے گا
بَلٰٓى ۛۚ اِنَّ رَبَّهٗ كَانَ بِهٖ بَصِيْرًا ؕ(15)
(15) Yea! surely his Lord does ever see him.
(15) ہاں اس کا پروردگار خوب دیکھنے والا ہے
فَلَاۤ اُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِۙ(16)
(16) But nay! I swear by the sunset redness,
(16) میں شفق کی قسم کھا کر کہتا ہوں
وَالَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَۙ(17)
(17) And the night and that which it drives on,
(17) اور رات اورجن چیزوں کو وہ ڈھانک لیتی ہے ان کی قسم
وَالْقَمَرِ اِذَا اتَّسَقَۙ(18)
(18) And the moon when it grows full,
(18) اور چاند کی قسم جب وہ پورا ہوجائے
لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍؕ(19)
(19) That you shall most certainly enter one state after another.
(19) کہ تم ایک مصیبت کے بعد دوسری مصیبت میں مبتلا ہوگے
فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَۙ(20)
(20) But what is the matter with them that they do not believe,
(20) پھر انہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ ایمان نہیں لے آتے ہیں
وَاِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْاٰنُ لَا يَسْجُدُوْنَ ؕ ۩(21)
(21) And when the Quran is recited to them they do not make obeisance?
(21) اور جب ان کے سامنے قرآن پڑھا جاتا ہے تو سجدہ نہیں کرتے ہیں
بَلِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يُكَذِّبُوْنَۖ(22)
(22) Nay! those who disbelieve give the lie to the truth.
(22) بلکہ کفاّر تو تکذیب بھی کرتے ہیں
وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوْعُوْنَۖ(23)
(23) And Allah knows best what they hide,
(23) اور اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جو یہ اپنے دلوں میں چھپائے ہوئے ہیں
فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍۙ(24)
(24) So announce to them a painful punishment~
(24) اب آپ انہیں دردناک عذاب کی بشارت دے دیں
اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمْ اَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍ(25)
(25) Except those who believe and do good; for them is a reward that shall never be cut off.
(25) علاوہ صاحبانِ ایمان و عمل صالح کے کہ ان کے لئے نہ ختم ہونے والا اجر و ثواب ہے
