۸۲ : سورة الإنفطار
SURAH AL-INFITAAR (THE CLEAVING ASUNDER)
There are 19 verses in this surah and it was revealed in Mecca. The Holy Prophet (S) said that if a person recites this surah frequently in his prayers then on the Day of Judgement there will be no curtain between Allah (s.w.t) and himself and when his book of deeds will be opened, Allah (s.w.t) will protect him from humiliation.
If a prisoner writes this surah and keeps it with him, he will be released sooner and he will be saved from any dangers. It is narrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq that even if the sins of the one who recites this surah are equal to the drops of rain, he will still be forgiven. This surah is also good for the eyes and one should blow gently into the eyes after reciting this surah.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
اِذَا السَّمَآءُ انْفَطَرَتْۙ(1)
(1) When the heaven becomes cleft asunder,
(1) جب آسمان شگافتہ ہوجائے گا
وَاِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتْۙ(2)
(2) And when the stars become dispersed,
(2) اور جب ستارے بکھر جائیں گے
وَاِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْۙ(3)
(3) And when the seas are made to flow forth,
(3) اور جب دریا بہہ کر ایک دوسرے سے مل جائیں گے
وَاِذَا الْقُبُوْرُ بُعْثِرَتْۙ(4)
(4) And when the graves are laid open,
(4) اور جب قبروں کو اُبھار دیا جائے گا
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَاَخَّرَتْؕ(5)
(5) Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back.
(5) تب ہر نفس کو معلوم ہوگا کہ کیا مقدم کیا ہے اور کیا موخر کیا ہے
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الْاِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيْمِۙ(6)
(6) O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one,
(6) اے انسان تجھے رب کریم کے بارے میں کس شے نے دھوکہ میں رکھا ہے
الَّذِىْ خَلَقَكَ فَسَوّٰٮكَ فَعَدَلَكَۙ(7)
(7) Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical?
(7) اس نے تجھے پیدا کیا ہے اور پھر برابر کرکے متوازن بنایا ہے
فِىْۤ اَىِّ صُوْرَةٍ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَؕ(8)
(8) Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you.
(8) اس نے جس صورت میں چاہاہے تیرے اجزاء کی ترکیب کی ہے
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُوْنَ بِالدِّيْنِۙ(9)
(9) Nay! but you give the lie to the Judgement day,
(9) مگر تم لوگ جزاء کا انکار کرتے ہو
وَاِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحٰفِظِيْنَۙ(10)
(10) And most surely there are keepers over you
(10) اور یقینا تمہارے سروں پر نگہبان مقرر ہیں
كِرَامًا كَاتِبِيْنَۙ(11)
(11) Honorable recorders,
(11) جو باعزّت لکھنے والے ہیں
يَعْلَمُوْنَ مَا تَفْعَلُوْنَ(12)
(12) They know what you do.
(12) وہ تمہارے اعمال کو خوب جانتے ہیں
اِنَّ الْاَبْرَارَ لَفِىْ نَعِيْمٍۚ(13)
(13) Most surely the righteous are in bliss,
(13) بے شک نیک لوگ نعمتوں میں ہوں گے
وَاِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِىْ جَحِيْمٍ ۚۖ(14)
(14) And most surely the wicked are in burning fire,
(14) اور بدکار افراد جہنم ّمیں ہوں گے
يَّصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّيْنِ(15)
(15) They shall enter it on the day of Judgement.
(15) وہ روز جزاء اسی میں جھونک دیئے جائیں گے
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِيْنَؕ(16)
(16) And they shall by no means be absent from it.
(16) اور وہ اس سے بچ کر نہ جاسکیں گے
وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰٮكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِۙ(17)
(17) And what will make you realize what the day of Judgement is?
(17) اور تم کیا جانو کہ جزاء کا دن کیا شے ہے
ثُمَّ مَاۤ اَدْرٰٮكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِؕ(18)
(18) Again, what will make you realize what the day of Judgement is?
(18) پھر تمہیں کیا معلوم کہ جزاء کا دن کیسا ہوتا ہے
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ؕ وَالْاَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ(19)
(19) The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's.
(19) اس دن کوئی کسی کے بارے میں کوئی اختیار نہ رکھتا ہوگا اور سارا اختیار اللہ کے ہاتھوں میں ہوگا
