Some things are recommended in Rami-e-Jumraat:
1. Being clean while throwing pebbles.
اَللّٰهُمَّ هٰذِهٖ حَصَیَاتِیْ فَاحْصِهِنَّ لِیْ وَ ارْفَعْهُنَّ فِیْ عَمَلِیْ۔
3. Saying a 'Takbeer' for every pebble thrown.
اَﷲُ اَكْبَرُ اَللّٰهُمَّ ادْحَرْ عَنِّیْ الشَّیْطَانَ اَللّٰهُمَّ تَصْدِیْقًا بِكِتَابِكَ وَ عَلٰی سُنَّۃِ نَبِیِّكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لِیْ حَجًّا مَبْرُوْرًا وَ عَمَلًا مَقْبُوْلًا وَ سَعْیًا مَشْكُوْرًا وَ ذَنْبًا مَغْفُوْرًا۔
5. Having a distance of 10 to 15 steps with Big satan while hitting him. Standing near small satans while hitting them.
6. Facing the big Satan and back towards Qiblah while hitting him. Facing Qiblah while hitting small and medium satans.
7. Keeping the pebble on finger-ring and throwing with the nail of the finger of kalemah.
اَللّٰهُمَّ بِكَ وَثِقْتُ وَ عَلَیْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَنِعْمَ الرَّبُّ وَ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلٰی وَ نِعْمَ النَّصِیْرُ۔
